In Jason Taylor we trust!
I've heard next year's draft is a cracker. This year's is shallow. Would JT consider a deal involving our 1st rounder + player this year to Hawks for their 1st rounder next year (assuming future pick rules petmit)? Gets them back in early this year for another ridiculous high profile trade and gives us a second 1st rounder for 2018 draft. Obviously not as simple as that, but you get my intent.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
So he'll play aged 34 "no doubt"??? Fyi, AFL seniors does not mean 60+.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Sure, but he's not exactly what could be described as durable or super fit. Big men who are depth often burn out quickly. I hope not though. He's a favourite of many

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Pedo will be 31 by start of next year. I like the guy a lot and want him to hold his spot for a long as possible, but he will struggle to get a game beyond next year, possibly end of this year. Weed will need to have a big preseason and come on next year or we'll look elsewhere for another kpf. Having said that, Reid from Sydney might be in our sights soon.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
Thought you were going to shut up about Oscar and let others decide? Not only are you a contrarian picket but you can't keep your promises. Oscar improved as the season progressed last year and he improved on the weekend as the game progressed. He makes some clangers which stand out, as do most on our team, but he is tracking well for his age, position and size. With another couple of preseason, 4-6kg of muscle and around 40 games, I believe he will become integral to our structure.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
At the time Brayshaw was better at 3 than Lever. We have what we wanted. I'm running with that.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I have often thought a kpd doesn't have to be particularly tall, but be able to read the ball coming in and have both a good leap and the body strength to not be pushed around in the contest. Good disposal is also important. Our kpds have some of these traits but fail in others.

Joe Daniher
He'd sign on for 15 years in that case

He would've been handy to help as a ruck in the absence of Gawn and Spencer Just sayin'...

Jack Leslie would want $250k just as a sign on fee. With the new CBA he'd need at least $500k pa to change clubs. Also, I don't think Goodwin sees Lewis or Brayshaw to be discounted from our future as easily as you do. Vince, possibly after this season.

We should look a bit west of the SCG. I'd like us to make a play for a classy GWS mid with a few seasons under their belt, say 24-26 yr old. D Smith, Coniglio, Whitfield or maybe even Shiel.

That would be a first round pick Ethan
