AFL has confirmed that every club can trade is 1st round pick this year. The rule is 2 first rounders in 4 years, including 2 in the last 4 years. However, clubs can apply to the AFL for exemptions based upon "acting responsibly". Not sure how this places the Cats next year with their trades for Danger and Touey. Happy to start at that, don't think it'll be enough. A first rounder this year and an up and coming player would be more likely. I'd rather keep our 2018 first and second picks as it's reported to be a very good and deep draft. That's not saying I don't rate ANB, just that I see Lever as of more importance over the next 10 years

2017 1st rounder and ANB is closer to what they would want, though they'll ask for 2017 and 2018 first rounders
