Dusty is a great footballer with the maturity and intellegence of a 3 week old puppy. He'll go where the money and easy life is. Back to Lever, I think the Lever/TMac/OMac combo will improve both OMac and TMac as footballers

Only a dumb club would trade Weid when he is a 2nd year key fwd with potential. He's worth more to us going ahead than his value now on the open market. I'd much rather Kelly or Devon Smith or Kennedy or Hopper from GWS than Patten or Lobbe. We are still badly short of quality mid depth, particularly outside quality. Dont get me wrong, Lever would be a good get, but I'd wet my pants if we got Kelly.

Given his versatility, probably is. If the Weid came on a bit earlier than expected and we got Lever, TMac would certainly carry trade value, much more than his bro or Frost. It would be interesting to see what eventuated if we got Lever early in the trade period and a club offered a future 2018 first rounder for TMac

AFL has confirmed that every club can trade is 1st round pick this year. The rule is 2 first rounders in 4 years, including 2 in the last 4 years. However, clubs can apply to the AFL for exemptions based upon "acting responsibly". Not sure how this places the Cats next year with their trades for Danger and Touey.
