Sorry but this is nonsense Scott Selwood is Collingwood’s forward coach and he was a tagger. James Rahilly is the Cat’s forward coach and he could be best described as a journeyman defender. Both those clubs seem to be kicking a few. You don’t need to have been a forward to coach a forward group. I would say brilliant communication skills, a deep understanding of the game and a synergy between all the coaching staff is far more important particularly in the modern game Famously Chris Fagan has never played the game at the highest level so you’d never want him as a coach.

I watched the Hawks V Tigers game. The Hawks were allowed to come through the centre meaning easy and deep entries into their fwd line. We have to slow them down and clog up the corridor. Someone else mentioned playing Melksham and Sicily. I loved Melksham’s game on McGovern. Sicily would be a good match for him. If Jake could limit his effectiveness it could go a long way towards winning this game.

We need at least a couple of players at AA level to make finals

Mackin was very good WCW but I thought Hore was clearly a cut above anyone else on the field. She may be more important to us than any other player is to their team

I preface this with saying I love watching Kossie play. But I’m not going to be able to watch him play next week because he will deservedly be sitting in the stands. His bump last night was dumb and unnecessary. Let’s face it, he has form and should be trying to eradicate that stuff from his game. If you look up the word mercurial I’m pretty sure there’ll be a photo of Kossie. We need him on the field, not watching form the box. I hope they have a pretty stern chat with him.

At 35yo I honestly believe she could be the first female coach of an AFL team. I so hope that happens
