I can't believe you can blindly support neeld on one hand, and slag trengove on the other. Don't hold it against him that he was the 2nd best player in the draft, he has done everything he can for the club whilst he's been on our list and will be an a grade star for us. He's having an average year, cut him some slack

theres no doubt he's playing defensive roles, or maybe putting a little too much emphasis on defence. His takle column has been good all year, which suggests he's quick enough to catch people, or doing enough runnig to get to enough contests. But when he missed that goal against the hawks i knew sothing was up. In his first few years he had a really pure set shot at goal, for him to not make the distance was strange to say the least. I'm calling OP, not over training.

I have no issues with giving him a 3 year deal at all. If anything it will now let Neeld send him to Casey if his form deserves it, without fear of him getting p1ssed off and packing his bags! I dont think any of our rucks apart from Gawn could be as good as him though, which is why he keep his spot week in and week out

He's been on an AFL list for far less time than those you mentioned, so i'll cut him some slack. I'd prefer him to keep his spot based on the fact he tries, than the usual suspects who only seem to give 100% when it suits
