I can imagine one of our players dropping him (with mininal contact) before the first bounce in a bit of pre siren argy-bargy, resulting in a GWS free kick and forward entry. He strikes me as the type of bloke who would stage for a free rather than try and stand his ground against a bigger man. Hope he gets assigned a tagging role on one of Sylvia or Moloney - surely some pride in performace would help them to lift and beat him (physically and on the stats sheet)

The draft is a lottery, even at the point end, i'd trade all of our top picks in the up coming draft for a current star. Not sure how this could work but say we have to take Viney with our first pick (Pick 3?), could we get some clubs interested with Picks 4 & 12? Go hard at Freo for Fyfe, or Gold coast for a homesick caddy + their first pick? Wonder if Geelong would trade an aging champion like Bartel or Chapman for Pick 4 seeing as they look like their list is looking old? Need to do another mitch clark type of trade. Unlikley to happen i know, but i think we need players who are ready to go and have an impact in 2013

I dont agree with Eagles fans booing Judd, as he served West Coast well. Scully, on the other hand, should be booed and heckled from the moment he steps onto the MCG. Junior deserves to be cheered every time he gets the ball - hopefully the crowd show some respect

I can't believe you can blindly support neeld on one hand, and slag trengove on the other. Don't hold it against him that he was the 2nd best player in the draft, he has done everything he can for the club whilst he's been on our list and will be an a grade star for us. He's having an average year, cut him some slack

theres no doubt he's playing defensive roles, or maybe putting a little too much emphasis on defence. His takle column has been good all year, which suggests he's quick enough to catch people, or doing enough runnig to get to enough contests. But when he missed that goal against the hawks i knew sothing was up. In his first few years he had a really pure set shot at goal, for him to not make the distance was strange to say the least. I'm calling OP, not over training.

I have no issues with giving him a 3 year deal at all. If anything it will now let Neeld send him to Casey if his form deserves it, without fear of him getting p1ssed off and packing his bags! I dont think any of our rucks apart from Gawn could be as good as him though, which is why he keep his spot week in and week out

He's been on an AFL list for far less time than those you mentioned, so i'll cut him some slack. I'd prefer him to keep his spot based on the fact he tries, than the usual suspects who only seem to give 100% when it suits

we need to pick the team most likley to beat a side full of young eager lads who will sniff a win.... I think guys like Moloney and Sylvia need to play and will have a field day against GWS. This will only further their reputation as flat track bullies and [censored] off us supporters even more!
