  1. Watson sounds like a man who is preparing himself for a disappointment... http://www.smh.com.au/afl/jobe-watson-im-not-really-enjoying-footy-20150702-gi3zn8.html
  2. Gawn will obviously have first go, but I think Spencer may be the one to quell NicNat's enthusiasm around the ground with his aggression.
  3. The only time an oxymoron can be a tautology is when it is the Oxley Moron (Pauline)
  4. Ok... I only mentioned him because I mistook your Phil for another irishman Phil O'Styne. And yes, an oxymoron ;-)
  5. I was actually thinking of the Irish gentleman with a penchant for fine wines and cheeses...Frank O'File
  6. Now that you mention it, Enyaw and Abbott have never been seen in the same thread together... hmmmmm!
  7. Well written WD and I hate to be a pedant, but you might want to fix the venue from Patersons to TIO.
  8. I think he's been excellent on 360. It struck me last night that that comment was also partially to get a rise out of Robbo who was unfortunately not really paying attention at the time.
  9. The File?
  10. Agreed... quite the opposite in fact as Roos was very complimentary regarding Pedersen's efforts in the games in which he took part.

    MRP

Fair point... I must look at a fixture one day.

    MRP

    Why?
  13. Has it been stated anywhere that the MRP won't look at the Goodes/Hunt incident? I imagine that given the amount of media coverage, they will look at the footage and then decide what action, if any, to take. However, I'm not sure that your comment comparing it to the Mitchell gesture is valid. Mitchell's was a mimed sledge while Goodes' was a supposed tackle (excuse the pun) action in the course of play. I think Mitchell's actions shouldn't be looked at at all... it was a sledge and nothing more.
  14. You live in a hospital?
  15. That sounds like a few on the Demonland forums too... only difference being that the real coaches probably wouldn't give them the time of day.
  16. Agree with this... If the team had been more diligent when it came to maintaining pressure in the first couple of quarters, we would have won by 6 rather than 4 goals (theoretically). We still have to learn not to bleed goals in the last minutes of ALL quarters... not just the final quarter.
  17. And that's where the whole system falls apart... if there was intent, then surely he should be out regardless of whether an injury is incurred or not. If they want to rub out a particular form of play, then the penalties MUST be the same regardless of the outcome (injured or not injured).
  18. Perhaps the pressure of being touted an All Australian full back?
  19. Didn't realise the Bulldogs were playing today.
  20. About half way down there is an entry "Win in Geelong".
  21. Bumping this thread ready for an update on the OP.
  22. Unless there's a TV on one of their displays showing the game.
