  1. This is wonderful news. What a player and what a person was the great Jimmy Stynes. Let's have his stature right near Ronny and Norm. What a Demon threesome they make.
  2. If you look anything like your picture Carrot Top and were female, I would miss you too!!! Had to put in the female bit or some people would get the wrong idea!
  3. Thanks to that fine administrator at Demonland the ORIGINAL Bobby McKenzie is back! Hope this news is not too devastating for some of you. Off with bobby mckenzie2 and on with the old! Let's go Demons!!!!
  4. No I haven't Demonland! I am on the forum as bobby mckenzie2(20 posts) not the original Bobby McKenzie(1400 plus posts.) When I enter Bobby McKenzie(Capital B and capital M,) bobby mckenzie2 immediately comes up. My question is how can I get the original McKenzie back on the forum?
  5. I have been a member of Demonland since 2006 using the name Bobby McKenzie. Try as I might I do not know how to get back on this forum as a result of losing my password. Can anyone tell me what I have to do? I am still listed as a current member.
  6. Watts, Trengove and Dunn.
  7. Sorry Colin. Looks like I started something which grew right out of proportion! I just simply related that you had a very quiet intra club match. As a few have indicated, we wish you good luck at Freo.
  8. On the Melbourne web site Dawes was quoted as saying he just wanted to get through the practice match 'unscathed' and that he achieved that aim. Icing him up as a precaution?
  9. I loved his clip when he was drafted. He showed energy, skill and work rate. Now he proved that he can do it at AFL level. Exciting prospect.
  10. For those who can remember big Bob Johnson. He was the king of the actors and could play footy pretty well as well.
  11. Thanks guys for your input. Looks like he could be yet ANOTHER recruit with a bit of class as well as grunt.
  12. I haven't seen the game but was wondering how Michie went. I have for some unknown reason, a feeling he could be a useful player for us.
  13. Was it this century? I'm not sure.
  14. And it must be great for Nate to have real HELP in the midfield. Cross, Vince and Tyson all did what we hoped they would do. Michie too was solid. We have an ENGINE at last!
  15. Thanks for correcting me on this one. I guess I looked at it simply as INTO Freo Sylvia and OUT from Freo to Melbourne Michie. I am hoping this will be good for us.
  16. Reading today's West Australian, I read that Colin is battling to win a place in the strong Dockers team. Apparently his disposal in a weekend practice match was poor and he has been told he needs to produce a greater work rate. Maybe, just maybe Michie might be a perfect swap for us. I guess time will tell. Having said that, I hope Colin does make the grade and have some team success. He has earned it.
  17. Yes, let us hope Dean can overcome this and we wish him a successful recovery and a good outcome.Keep fighting mate.
  18. Exactly, let's wait until he runs out on the ground before we make any more assessments on his foot!
  19. Sam is not living up to my hope that he can become Bluey Adams Mark 2. Maybe Roosy will bring it all out of him.
  20. You have not included one recognised ruckman in your Certainties and Probables list. We need Jamar or Gawn to come into the equation. i would list both as probables. With one of them (depending on pre season form) being classified as a Certainty.
  21. Recently watched Aussie's last quarter performance in our big comeback win over the Dockers. He was superb.
  22. Maybe we can go on to Portsea and tackle those sand dunes ala Herb Eliott and Percy Cerutty. Worked for Herb!
  23. Good move. I remember way back playing against Scotch College. Their red jumpers were skin tight and impossible to grab. What about plenty of oil on the arms as well? Make us as slippery as eels. What was wrong with the stars? I thought they were meaningful symbols of our illustrious past.
