  1. Yep, remember him as no.29....hmmm not a lot of insight I am afraid.
  2. OK so I think this is a good place for this; with all of the talk about the League tinkering with the rules, the link shows that it has been forever thus. One of my favourite rule changes is 1955 - Boundary umpires’ whistles first used in place of white handkerchiefs. http://www.afl.com.au/afl-hq/the-afl-explained/rule-changes-1858-2013 Enjoy!
  3. http://demonwiki.org/John+Tilbrook Slightly depressing but informative reading for millennials and baby boomers alike
  4. I loved him when we had him but it is sobering just how ordinary he appears when seen in opposition colours.
  5. You've certainly had an education this week Choke, torn confetti..the Nankervis Brothers. Just wait till we start talking about floggers, the centre diamond and Diamond Jim.
  6. Hmm. strange way to open your account on Demonland; how do the worms taste at the bottom of the garden?
  7. Thanks everyone who went; sounds like the night we should have had at the G last Saturday ....if..that makes ..sense
  8. Ha, my Magpie mates at our local cricket club were carrying on about top four this year; how great it was to get Howe and how little they paid to get him viz Kennedy and generally how fantastic their midfield was going to be. I think they may have gone a tad early.
  9. I found it odd that Roos said that Dunn was not selected because the Essendung forward line was small. (forgive me if this has already been posted)
  10. reminds me of us against the bummers last year. 2 extremely ordinary teams out there
  11. Sorry WB; I thought that needed editing
  12. From memory, the consent form issue was brought into focus on 4 corners the other night. Hal Hunter had signed very few forms at all.
  13. Could not be happier for him; hope he achieves everything he deserves.
  14. 4 corners on the ABC just now - essential viewing to understand the real side of the players and their club. Hal Hunter presents as a very hard done by individual and the club present exactly as you would expect. What a pack of flogs!
  15. Not sure HT, i was just underscoring what the previous poster had said. Check the club site I reckon. Good luck, I will be in B@#$dy Ballarat for the weekend.
  16. Casey praccy match AT Goschs. You can walk there from the city.
  17. There is a resistance to run the ball up the wing using the boundary as defence. Instead they are switching out of defence and running the ball by hand and foot through the corridor as well as the opposite wing. When it works they look a million dollars but they were undone several times with bad kicks at point of instigation. They are soooo much better than last year and look like a really competent team.
  18. ouch, flogging to the Seagulls Final Siren at Casey Fields. We go down 14.10.94 to 4.4.28. A tough day for the VFL squad, there were some glimpses of great play though. according to Casey Twitter feed.
  19. Great shots of a few players who have been unseen of late. JT, Haitch and CP. All looking great. Go Dees! and thanks for the shots
  20. Great shots of a few players who have been unseen of late. JT, Haitch and CP. All looking great. Go Dees! and thanks for the shots
  21. Tomas Bugg 6 10 16 4 0 0 1 1 0 1 The 4 were the marks in the last quarter. Not normally one to harp on stats but I remember him having a great last quarter.
