  1. You will be waiting a while me thinks.
  2. Too depressed to work so did some analysis of the "Bye" and the AFL's equitable game system (I've included the day of the next game of football) 15 day break - GWS/Adelaide/GC/Bulldogs/Geeeeelong 14 day break - Freo/Syd/Nth/WC 13 day break - Saints/Rich/Coll/Hawthorn 12 day break - Bris/Carlton/Ess 11 day break - Port 10 day break - MFC Make of it what you will but we certainly have not been given any favours by the AFL (and dont get me started on our game at Geeeelong)
  3. Max was looking at their bench. Moron Club.
  4. Harmes ran off at one stage clutching his side/ribs.
  5. I spent three days in hospital after our moggy bit me. Washed out only once but on a drip and had to have cosmetic surgery after. Ungrateful thing. I was saving it from another moggy😿
  6. Great effort by DA. Nothing like a sausage burnt to a crisp.
  7. Hopefully the Community work that both have to do will be those concerning with violence and alcohol. Maybe REACH have a programme that both could contribute to.
  8. Why? The Club have come out and we now know Jake was actually doing what they all should have been doing. I mean what was Hibberd doing. Who knows if the others tried to say something. We don't need to know those details. We know that Maysie was drinking when he should not have been and got aggressive with Jake when he obviously tried to temper the situation. There is fault on all sides. Maysie has now apologised in the media and to his team mates and hopefully Joel Smith in particular. Jake has apologised to his team mates. Why does Jake need to come out and say anymore. Also while I'm at it that poster who said that Jake would come out after his retirement and try and make money out of this well just goes to show how low some posters here will go. Some here with obvious bias must have had a wonderful couple of days.
  9. Did you watch No.8 on Clayton last week. Why are the umpires not watching what the opposition is doing to stop him contesting the ball. So I am not sure the wrestling is started by our midfield.
  10. I sit in the MCC are and you are allowed to make a noise. Cast your mind back to when we played Hawthorn and Geelong at the G in 2018 to make the finals, the sound inside the MCC (and around the ground) was unbelievable. When Kossie has the ball the noise around the ground lifts incredibly - he is so exciting. I am not talking about general play noise but when we were down by a couple of goals there was nothing on Saturday night. We (the supporters)went back into our shells and conceded that we were going to lose. Maybe we should do what Geelong does and not allow large groups of opposition supporters to sit together. The group of Fremantle and Swan supporters were sitting directly behind and next to their cheer squads. The Swans do have a larger than normal interstate supporter base in Melbourne largely due to the work of Tony Morwood but the noise coming from that area was commented by many people sitting around us. It made me think that there is some technical device amplifying the sound to make it sound better for TV, the difference was so notable. If we dont come together on Monday we will look ridiculous, and the players will need our support and noise especially after this morning's news.
  11. Didn’t he sign another contract just recently?
  12. I was thinking last night how much noise the Swans cheer squad were making and same last week against Fremantle. It seems there is little noise from around the ground. Where are the chants usually initiated by the Demon Army and the reserve areas and then taken up by the MCC supporters. Even in the MCC where there was some enthusiasm pre Premiership there was silence. My family and a friend tried to get something going but no there was zip. I know that the players love the noise that we used to make. What has happened. Have we become so complacent. In no way would I blame the Demon Army. They are just as enthusiastic as in previous years but come on everyone it really is incumbent on all of us to make a noise not just wait for the Demon Army to start something.
  13. So we can rule you out to act for Buddy
  14. I don't need another reason. Sorry WCW I am going to have to do it 🤮🤮
  15. Or dinner at the Melbourne Club!
  16. How they adjudicate holding of each other's arms. That should have been play on.
  17. It's Buddy. Would anything surprise us and the conspiracy theorist in me tells me someone higher up would love to keep a Sydney team in the running.
  18. KC what position does Ellison play and did Brown do enough to play against the Swans next week.
  19. He is there supporting his best mate Hibberd
  20. We can always count on you WCW to bring some clarity to some of the comments on here. The vitriol against Melksham on here is similar to that was aimed at Jay Kennedy Harris some years ago. Everyone understands that Jake is not playing to the same level as he did a couple of years ago but does that mean he should be subjected to the spiteful comments that are being made by the same old landers. As I commented when Jay was being targeted that there are family members who read the "Land" and are mortified by what was/is being said. Maybe think before typing. Now when it comes to Collingwood - go for your life🤣
  21. Don’t think Sue would take too kindly to that🤣
  22. And most were Melbourne supporters.
