I remember asking Jack Watts how much he had grown this year and he said " we never measure it so I couldn't tell you". I think some clubs use that AFL stats to mislead opposition teams who might be planning match ups etc.

We are 6th on total crowds (H & A). That includes a paltry 8000 or so at Darwin! Norf are in trouble 11,000 less than us on average per game.

Playing finals last year hasn't helped Essendon. In fact there's a reasonable argument that it has hurt them.

Dunn's first half was outstanding for what he did himself and for what he denied Watson the opportunity to do. He fell away a fair bit during the second half but when the heat was on he was good.

Jamar - right decision - ess ran across mark I bad decision and two that were 50m penalties from 10-15m out that would have been goals anyway. (and the Watts free was a joke but I'll take anything against these scum- particularly as they have cost us games earlier in the year - Dogs, Pies etc)

Our tackling was as as bad as I have seen it. We could hardly stick a tackle. We got there but they were allowed to wriggle out on countless occasions. Very frustrating and kept them in the game.

Allowing them to kick 6 of the last 7 was a disgrace. A real let down on what would have been a great thrashing of the Scum. I sadly remember them coming back from 48 pts down in the LAST quarter to beat us so a chance to bury them has gone begging. Very poor. When the heat was on we were clearly the better side on the park. But there clearances were a big concern for mine.
