Cultural problems abound People can try to sweep them under the carpet but if this happens many heads should roll
-
Both players gave their all every time they stepped out onto the field. Fritsch's efforts at times are one of the reasons we are in this predicament. His defensive skills are non existent and players must shake their head when the ball goes into our Fwd 50 and comes straight out again. Infuriating. You're welcome to your opinion of course but for mine his attitude is cancerous in a team

Yeah Collingwood haven't had injuries either You take comfort with excuses. They're like a baby blanket for you I guess. Sleep well
-
He's kicked 50 twice. in 8 seasons Next best 41 Not that hard to replace. And with someone who can put on pressure and tackle, two traits that Fritsch seems incapable of doing
-
6 goals in the last 6 weeks - I think we can afford to get rid of him. Does ZERO when it comes to keeping the ball in our fwd 50. 5 tackles in the last 8 weeks. Not one single possession in the forward half last night and in the first 10 weeks he had something like 8 possessions in the collective first halves. We are better off without him

I don't care what personnel were missing, Our game plan stinks. Letting the Pies waltz out of our fwd line repeatedly and handball chain into their fwd 50 was plain embarrassing. The coaching staff have their heads in a cement block and need to pull them out ASAP As for Fritsch and Petty. they can just leave. Petty not 1 single possession in the fwd 50 and Fritsch not one single possession in the fwd half according to the AFL tracker. Goodwin has killed Petty as a player. Congrats Our young players have no one to show them the way. Our leaders in 2024 were abysmal

Fritsch not a single possession forward of centre Petty not a single possession in the fwd50 Champions
-
Given up 9 goals from turnover Quality football side

Petty back to being useless Fritsch is the softest player in the comp

GWS James Peatling. Still unsigned 24yo mid bull

He's in Gold Coast's Academy program so I expect he knows all of them I did hear Jeff W on the radio saying Kalani thought better of wearing his Demon jumper to the game. I'd say he will be a Dee but Jeff likes playing the game a bit
-
He was born in WA raised in SA went to boarding school in SA but wants to go to the NT? Yeah right I read somewhere there were 1600 accredited footy journalists and only 730 registered AFL players 1600 people trying to be relevant. We thought last years off season was long......

And now let's do an honest assessment of which players have improved this year. Our senior players have let us down badly. Oliver, Salem, Viney, Lever, Petty Improvers: Rivers, McVee, maybe Langdon, maybe JvR. That's it First year players - Windsor - started well. Tholstrup - has been OK Who has improved from the 2021 GF: May - no Lever - backwards Rivers - yes Petty - backwards Salem - backwards Petracca - excused Langdon - maybe ANB - maybe McDonald - no Sparrow - backwards Spargo - excused BBrown - no Fritsch - Backwards Bowey - excused Pickett - not really Chandler - no Gawn - no Oliver - backwards Viney - no Theres our problem right there. A lot of players that are fringe. Woey, billings, Hunter, Schache, Thommo, McAdam, Hore, Verral, Sestan, Farris White BBB

This is all on the coaching staff. Players are bereft of confidence. They have no idea what they are supposed to be doing. They turn the ball over. You can see the panic when they get the ball. They just dont know what to do. They will trot out excuses like, oh we had injuries - and yes that explains some of it - but if you told me at the start of the season we would be 18th for clearances I would have laughed at you. The players are clueless what to do. Or at the very least confused as to what they should be doing. It's blindingly obvious except to the happy clappers here.
