  1. And its senior players like Fritsch that are to blame.
  2. I'll be pleased to see Rayner and Zorko's faces rubbed into the Gabba turf numerous times. Time for the Dees to stand up and be counted.
  3. They're bringing in the Premiership ruckman Darcy Fort.
  4. At what point do we as a club say 'let's fix our kicking for goal' As long as i can remember we have been ****house
  5. Afl this talk about honourable losses.. The Roos nearly beat them the goodness sake. Yes they're a different proposition at home but if we play like we did v hawthorn for the 1st there quarters and kick a little straighter there's every chance we can jag a win If it's close at 3/4 time and we crumble we should riot on HQ
  6. He's only played 2 games and those rucks were Witts and Lachy Keefe - both pretty tall big bodies. Given he's a back up ruckman I think we can be OK about him doing that. IMO its better than JvR and we get a lot of aggro, hard at the ball and can mark in the fwd line.
  7. Apparently Viney's symptoms didn't appear until the Thursday following the game and its at that point he entered the concussion protocols. Surely it from the time he sustains the concussion? Anyone know what the rules are re this?
  8. Yep give him a boiled lollie for a "few tackles" Holy cow no wonder other clubs laugh at us.
  9. Such a furphy. He changed his mind went to an election with the policy and won the election. Unlike some others....
  10. He is a highly paid professional athlete. No need to treat him with kid gloves like a naughty 5 yo He has been horribly out of form for 18 months. And until recently looked like he couldn't care less.
  11. We don't have a big bodied white line fever backman to replace May that is honing his craft at Casey. That's a poor recruiting position to be in as we will have to pay up to get one.
  12. Fritsch, 4 possessions Simply a liability. Better off with one of those steel men on the mark they use at training Complete joke how he remains in the team
  13. How many more years can we extend his career!
  14. He was high up on our list in his draft year. Can play
  15. I'd try him forward. Take a good mark and has good body size. Knows where the goals are I could see him waxing with Tracc. When Tracc moves to the midfield Langford goes fwd and vice versa
  16. Kozzie > Jackson
  17. Oh dear it's a cheer squad love in.
  18. Ah OK then! AI has a way to go :)
  19. Chris scott got a flag in his first year (which he probably can't take full credit for) and took 11 years to win another.
  20. I asked Grok to tell me the number of times that a team scores a) at least 10 goals, b) has more goals than behinds and c) loses the game, It did a bunch of analysis (albeit not having access to the data set) and estimated 12 times in the past 25 years. It's a pretty important part of the game.
  21. I once visited the VIS where the Dogs were doing kicking drills. They were wired up and their motions were recorded on to a computer where they were analysed. Everything was measured from their run-up, leg angle, foot position, ball drop etc etc. Very comprehensive. I assumed most clubs do this at some point to get fundamentals right but It is not a skill that has improved over time And the fatigue involved these day probably compounds the problem. Ignoring the problem wont fix it so you'd hope there is something going on at the club re this.
  22. For me its the reverse. Umpiring and the MRO and the blatant AFL favouritism over fixtures, TV slots etc etc just kill it for me. For someone that used to watch 3 or 4 games a week other than Melbourne I basically watch 1 game a month or less of other teams.
  23. Not even fined? WTF??
  24. I have been away so sorry of this has been dealt with already but did the Hawthorn player get suspended for tripping Pickett in the goal square?
