  1. I'm hopeful Sparrow will get more midfield time. He cops a lot on here but I am looking forward to seeing him move away from his run with roles and cutting loose a bit more. He's a great mark for his size and can kick so I am hoping a new coach with free him up a bit more.
  2. Clayton is a child who happens to be very good at football when he puts his mind to it. You can't escape the fact we haven fallen apart since the 21 flag. It's not all Clayton's fault but it appears he was at the centre of the problem. The selfless footy of 21 was replaced with team mates wondering why he was afforded special treatment. Tracc's relationship with other players and the club is a little more complex but those that surround him have encouraged his me/my/brand attitude. The heirarchy of the club was flighting itself and the coach was unable/ill-equipped to deal with it. It's a sad story that puts a full stop to an era that promised so much. The flag was great but man, we have cocked it up bigtime since
  3. We'll have a lot of list spots and a good chunk of cap space. Hopefully a big free agency player next year The list management team have a rolling 3 to 5 year horizon to balance against short term needs
  4. It all went pear shaped mid 2023 when he did his hammy/tendon or whatever. Wet game went back on did more damage, was out for what, 10 weeks? Lost the plot, social life derailed. Tracc's issues seem to be sheeted home to his medical treatment as well. Something went wrong in 2023 and the club under Pert/Roffey and Goodwin were ill equipped to manage it.
  5. We all feel your pain. It's been excruciating to be back in this position
  6. I think you're missing the point. We've finished 14th 2 years running with key players wanting to leave and/ or creating locker room tension Do nothing and we may well have finished lower or the same in 26. Doing nothing was not an option and by clearing out fragile players or troublemakers and replenishing the list with top 12 picks places us in a stronger position Time will tell but it's a strong message to the group
  7. Waiting for the day when someone writes the real story about our shambolic club post the 2021 flag. For all the Goodwin supporters its clear that there was a schism in the dressing room that he was unable to control or perhaps even facilitated. And the leaders on field failed big time Sad for the Dees. Let's hope we're on the right track.

    Aim higher!
  9. And Jeremy Howe is gonna play forward..........one day
  10. Might want to change your avatar...
  11. Someone will write the real story of the post 2021 Premiership shambles one day. It will be a riveting read
  12. Came out of his exit meeting posting pictures of himself in a Casey jumper. Has sent a few congratulatory messages to Jamara.. He knows how to use social media. Poor form
  13. I have just searched for it and can't see it anywhere. Neither from Clarrie Says a lot to me about these two
  14. Clarrie come out to thank the club, supporters and coaches yet? Plenty of time to post [censored] memes apparently Interesting
  15. Tracc come out to say thanks to the club, coaches and supporters yet?
  16. Richardson will be happy that he no longer has to mow Clayton's lawn........
  17. Damien Barrett saying Essendon demanded 4 first round draft picks for Merrett I thought Dodoro had left the Bombers? Clearly he left his trading manual behind.....
  18. Clarrie and Tracc....dead to me
  19. No, surely Kane and Ralphy couldn't be wrong?
  20. Surely that is open for abuse?
  21. Why does Jamarra's contract get torn up and he sits on a lower salary for 2026 and beyond? And Oliver gets his full payment terms? Can someone enlighten me?
  22. Effectively Petracca and McVee for 7 and 8 Plus Oliver for a mooted pick in the 30s plus paying half his salary. What a joke. If these deals get done I think I am done with the club and its trading. Tim Lamb can just go as well ... Let's hope the club has more sense. Other clubs hold firm as they know the Dees will buckle. It's painted as ' we are a good club to deal with' but you never go into a negotiation like we seem to do constantly - where everyone knows you are desperate to do a deal, any deal.
  23. err because Judd, Dangerfield, Cameron and Neale are superstars for their new clubs.......3 even winning Brownlows Picks are overated and a lottery
  24. "Hyperventilating" Wow. Have you taken your meds today? An obvious statement that Kentfield has more credentials than Jefferson and you project "hyperventilating" and "A grade players" Your projection says more about your comprehension skills than any football merit but jog on in any case
  25. The lunatics have been running the asylum that is Melbourne for a few years now. Looks like they have been called to account and they don't like it. The amount of focus on our 'connection' inside 50 for the past 5 years has been insane and yet our two most prolific mids (plus you can add Viney) can't hit the side of a barn Thats not changing any time soon so I'm glad they are having their feet held to the fire.
