  1. Waiting for the usual suspects to defend this buck of lazy unskilled footballers. The coach can [censored] off as well
  2. Wow we are lazy. I'd drop 10 of them. Don't care who comes up from Casey
  3. Quality side give up 84 pts from turnovers. Pathetic skill errors week after week. Sack the coach.
  4. More great defence from Oscar
  5. Our defence is seriously pathetic. The amount of time and space they give to the saints is insane
  6. How are all the apologists going tonight. What a shiite team
  7. Are you kidding? Goodwin was gifted an up and coming side with great club administration and sound fundamentals as a team. He is effectively in his 4th year and has had an armchair ride yet we have not eliminated some of the basic skill errors we have been committing for years. His game style or brand has been shown to be easy to coach against and aside from a good 4 weeks last year, we have been incredibly flaky and weak against top sides, particularly defence. Yeah, gotta feel for him. How about feeling for supporters who have been putting up with cr*p for decades.
  8. Is that Darren Burgess?
  9. The last 5 decades are an aberation
  10. Don't think I have ever read such a garbage post in this site.
  11. Don't forget the midget at Freo, he'll want 4 first round picks
  12. Well the AFL have come out and said that two fend off decisions in the ruck were wrong - 1 for Ben Brown and 1 in the Lions game - but no comment on Max's infringement ("That's ruck craft big boy") yet again clubs squeal about decisions and you don't hear a peep from melbourne about stupid decisions against our players. We are really soft when it comes to sticking up for the club.
  13. Injuries are a poor excuse The pies injury list is: Anton Tohill Ben Reid Christopher Mayne Daniel Wells Darcy Moore Dayne Beams Jaidyn Stephenson James Aish Jamie Elliott Jeremy Howe John Noble Josh Thomas Levi Greenwood Lynden Dunn Nathan Murphy Samuel Murray Scott Pendlebury Tom Langdon Will Kelly They have had injuries all year. They aren't playing well at the moment but they put us to shame with their effort
  14. I blame the camp.....
  15. We haven't had a player that can take charge of a game for some time. Perhaps Neita was the last player that could will us across the line through the strength of his play and leadership. I thought TMac was heading that way last year but maybe not. Certainly we haven't had a dominant mid for eons that could do that in the mould of a Cripps. Oliver may get there and he is an amazing talent but he doesn't do the damage that a Cripps does. Its a real failing of us as a club.
  16. OMG As if. You look stupid saying that he will never be dropped in his career.
  17. Goodwin has steadfastly stuck to his 'Melbourne brand' for some time even when it has been clear for a long time it isn't working. He has barely changed his views. I give you Bayley Fritsch as exhibit A. Has been playing in defence and on the wing when most here have been crying out for him to play his 'natural' position of forward. Lewis is too slow for defence and midfield but played a good game on McGovern. If he kicked two goals we'd be lauding it more. I am a critic of Goodwin's stubborness but he definitely changed this week and the changes were for the better largely
  18. Its taken 18 rounds for his ego to accept what many on here have 'advised' for months We have clearly changed our 'Brand' - or to paraphrase Groucho Marx said "we have principles and if you don't like them.... well we have others"
  19. AND we seem to cop some new interpretation or some previously un-awarded free kick each week.
  20. Have watched this a few times. Barass will get off. Viney initiated contact, Barass was focused on handballing and braced for contact, Didn't leave the ground.
  21. He was terrible. Don't try to suggest otherwise. Usual handballs to players feet, or behind them, fumbles, turnovers etc. ANB is a liability.
  22. Late in the 3rd quarter and we had kicked 6 goals 9 behinds from set shots. The Eagles 5 goals straight That is the game right there. Have been doing similar most of the year. Gifted the weagles 30 points before pulling our finger out. We made the same mistakes as we do every week but seemed to run a bit harder. Some decent decisions by Goodwin in terms of match ups: Lewis on McGovern, Fritsch forward, Brayshaw on Yeo We are our own worst enemy. Its kind of pathetic actually.
  23. You must have a really short memory. 6 July 2019 Richmond 150 v Suns 58 Thanks for playing
