  1. Melbourne V South Melb 1981 MCG. Dont remember much, I was 8, but I remember Jacko!, and we lost.
  2. Why doesn't he just say "The money was too good to refuse" We all know it, and most would just say fair enough. All of this dribble coming out of his mouth just makes him look like a [censored]. Or even better still, why doesn't he just shut up and say nothing at all. Satan- Nice thread title by the way. funny that I knew exactly what it was about before even looking.
  3. "It would have been incredibly difficult to leave if we were playing well and playing finals footy. I knew the list was in a good place, but I wasn't sure where the club was at back then." As opposed to knowing where GWS are at? and they are going to play finals? What a crock of sh#t. I am so over this bloke.
  4. # 52 Melbourne - Sam Kerridge (Bendigo / 188 / 83 / 93) Was very highly rated coming into this years draft and was one who probably didn’t quite live up to expectations through the year. IN saying that he certainly had a pretty good end to the season and was rewarded with a couple of senior games where he performed really well. Tall athletic sort of player who accumulates the footy and has a fair bit of class. AFL Comparison – Michael Barlow Roughie – Still think they could do with a tall fwd or defender here and there are a number of reasonably rated one left. There is a write up about this bloke in todays paper. Sounds like a nice type, and a good attitude. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/months-of-adversity-harden-kerridges-resolve-to-reach-top-flight/story-e6frf9jf-1226186602883 Does anyone know any more about him?
  5. Plus, he cannot shake a tag. Some little French bloke had him covered for the whole trip.
  6. Along with the grammer references. Some, including myself, have been pulled up a few times with the, resigned - re-signed, mistake.
  7. Nice report footynut. Most sounds like obvious replies, but still good to read. Very interesting that he feels we are so far behind in our training.
  8. I would be happy for him to return. He can carry the oranges. I'm sure that there is lots of things that he can do around the club.
  9. Absolutely Stoked. Welcome Aboard Mitch. Great work Dee's. I think this is the most positive thread I have read on Demonland in a long while. Very Refreshing.
  10. I think that happened in a dream you had.
  11. Um, Lets just see if we actually get him first.
  12. I will be happy to take Clark if he wants to play with us. I rate him, and think he could become a big factor in our improvement. Also will be great for us to snare a player of this type to our club. Go get him Dee's.
  13. Forgive me if this is stupid, because I dont follow how all the rules work. Can Clark still nominate for the November draft? In this case Freo pick him at #20. Dont think anyone would take him before then. Unless Sheedy decides to be dificult.
  14. I think that Beamer is the only player on our list that we have got through trades. Joel Mac was PSD so he doesn't count. Is there anyone else?
  15. Wasn't thinking about his wage. I meant cheap to get. But you are right. If he is wanting too much cash, then it is probably not worth the punt.
  16. Cant find any mention of him anywhere else. Are we interested in Alan Toovey? 24. 189cm 89kg. Apparantly hard at it, but disposal, although improving, could be a concern. Any thoughts? Also could be very cheap.
  17. If I remember correctly, they were Scanlens cards and came with a strip of chewy. We used to play flicks with them at primary school to try and win them from each other. Yes,,,, those were the days. sigh
  18. Cameron Ling as Ronald is absolute gold. He looks hilarious.
  19. Happy to bring Dangerfield home for one of our 1st round picks. I think they took Scott Thompson off us for pick 12. That sounds fair to me.
  20. At first I thought that he was coming to play. No thanks. But I imagine that MN must have seen the way he relates with other players in regards to his coaching. Can only trust in MN, and assume he knows what he is doing.
  21. Not sure if it has already been posted. Lets all hope that Jack stays loyal to us. http://sportsiq.com.au/sports-analysis/afl/jack-watts-ambivalent-about-switch-to-acting
  22. Hansen is the Cale Morton of the Roo's only worse. He is always being bagged by North fans. I am not so sure if he is what we want.
  23. Wow! Do you still have a VCR?
