I was stoked with the way we played for the most part. Good signs. Before the game, i'm certain I would of been happy with this result, and also the way we played. I know he is only a rookie list player, but did anyone else think that we missed Spencer in the last quarter when he went off? Is there any chance this bloke could be elevated?

Not going to get too upset, because todays effort was fantastic. Davey's tackle in the last quarter in front of goal could of been paid holding the ball. Almost certain goal would of made a big difference I think. Also there should of been a h.t.b decision just before Ryoli's goal also towards end of game. I dont want to winge, but it is just frustrating, when the game is in the balance at the time the free's were. Anyway. Great signs, but hopefully it does not take a retirement each week to keep us playing this way.

Far from "potting", I think his experience would be beneficial to our young kids in defence. Just wondered what others thought. IMO, Mistakes in attack do not cost you as much as mistakes in defence.

If I remmember correct, we got belted by Collingwood the next week again after this game. maybe 80 or 90 pts. But then didn't we turn it around and make the finals? I could be wrong, just trying to remmember.

Interested in opinions. Suprised to see that Neitz is not at least tried at CHB. Surely his presence alone would be worth a try. What is left to lose? I just think experience in the backline is a better option than keeping him forward where he is doing very little.

Guy Mckenna for me too. I think he would be ruthless and he has a winning mentality. He would also surely have a lot of respect from the players, as most of them would of watched him win premierships whilst growing up. Respect from the players is a huge factor. If the players think the coach is a [censored], then they wont follow him. Therefore Chris Connelly should not even be considered.
