For me, Longer is a huge prospect for the future. I would rate him higher than all the tucks we have.

If Longer wants out, then Bribane might take a trade for Jamar and swap 2nd rounders. Longer would be our first choice ruck, so our deal might appeal more than hawks where he would be in the same boat as at brisbane

Ratten would get my vote. I thought that he was doing a reasonable job at Carlton and was unlucky with injurys. Malthouse has obviously not been any better. He has also had assisitant experiance at the Hawks, Blues and us previously, so he would of gained a lot of experiance. He is also a respected bloke. He would be my first choice. I am not sure why he has not been mentioned as much as some of the other names.

Brett Ratten. He has done as good job as Malthouse at Blues so far. Probably with less due to injuries last year. He would be my pick.

I would like to go after Sam Kerridge from Adelaide. I rate him, and if we get in his ear, we could get him.

From what I hear, Dawes is supposed to be a bit of a leader, I would be watching him over pre-season for a possible role. Bartram is the only doubt, but only due to his injury.
