  1. 31 pages to this thread. Tom Scully wears #31. hmmm interesting. I think he will stay. Just curious to know what the record is for posts on a single thread.
  2. No thanks. We have better options than the Tomahawk already. Rhino, I think that the Cats stripes are horizontal.
  3. 6. Watts 5. McKenzie 4. Martin 3. Green 2. Garland 1. Scully Votes to Freo today also, for being shocking.
  4. Trengove or Scully I think Mark Stevens has been reading our board.
  5. Just read this article this morning. I totally agree. I like to think that in a different situation, would K.Sheedy give up pick 1 for Tom Scully. I am pretty sure that he, and any other coach would take that deal in a heartbeat. Therefore, our compansation should be at least the number 1 pick.
  6. DB always seems to say the right things, and present himself well. This is probably the reason he was given the job in the first place. In an interview, he always seems to win. However, he still has a bit to prove in regards to his ability to actually coach. I hope that he can sell us all on this part soon.

  8. Maybe I was. I thought he was good today
  9. From what I have seen this year, Jack Trengove just keeps getting better. I know that Scully has been hampered by injury, but I think his foot skills are certainly holding him back. Jack can win the ball, as well as having the extra skills, (and size) to back it up. Not saying that this will not change in the future, but I think that if I was sitting at the draft table right now, I would pick Jack.
  10. 6. Jack Trengove 5. Jack Watts 4. Colin Sylvia 3. Clint Bartram 2. Jeremy Howe 1. James Strauss Nath Jones just misses out.
  11. I think Andy Maher's impeccable source is most likely David Schwarz, and David Schwarz's is probably Andy Maher.
  12. Surely Howe will get a nom if he continues like he started.
  13. agreed MFC ride is frustrating. Demonland ride is amusing. good question though. Tough to answer I went with MFC only due to the emotional factor, which makes the up and downs steeper.
  14. Next Monday will be even better than last night. 90,000 at the G to watch the Dee's win by 30pts. All the hype will follow, and everyone will be talking us up as contenders. Then we will lose to Freo at home the week after.
  15. GOOD: The Emotion shown by players and coach Jordie (Good doesn't reallly cut it) Beamers goal mid way through 3rd. Awsome team stuff. If that didn't pump you up and get you exited, then you must be dead. No Ugly or Bad because I am still buzzing with too much love for my team.
  16. I love Jordie. ....that is all
  17. 6. Jordie!! Order me a new jumper with a 13 on the back. I think I almost cried he was so good. Man Crush. 5. Jared Rivers 4. Jack Trengove 3. The Gys 2. Nathan Jones 1. Stef Martin
  18. Sorry, not bovine yet, only works with sheep at this stage.
  19. Sounds like there were some good positives to come from Werribee. Gawn among the best. Howe also. Scully had a run and from all reports was good. This all means that there are at least players pushing for selection, and even though we have injuries, we at least have some depth. Also, Trengove suspension is over, and he can now slot back into the side. Greens game last night was also a positive sign. He needed to improve, and he did.
  20. The headline reads: "NOT A GOOD LOOK, DEES" and then "No one was happy after another dirty day, especially the president and the coach" There is no actual story. It is the front page of the Sport section.
  21. I thought that this would come up. Am also suprised by the amount of love he is getting here. I though that most feel the same as you TM. Personally, I dont think he intentially plays to get the high tackle. I think it is just his natural reaction to attempt to shrug off a tackle, and it turns out that that action pushes the tacklers arm up toward his head. Either way, he gets it first.
  22. The picture was doctored to look worse than it was. There was not even a story based on the photo. The headline was it. I cant find the pic on HUN site, and my scanner is not big enough to fit the paper.
  23. After reading the recent 3 most annoying players from other clubs. Just wondering who our favorite players are from the others. Mine would be: 1. Joel Selwood. Just an absolute star. 2. Lenny Hayes. Inspirational. I think everyone loves Lenny. 3. Jack Reiwoldt. Just exiting and fun to watch
  24. If you look at both tackles, Bartram and Trengove, then Bartram was to me more dangerous. He had both of Winmars arms pinned as the players went to ground, and so Winmar had no chance to stop the impact. However, I think Bartrams will not even be looked at. And rightly so.
  25. 1. Milne 2. Sam Mitchell 3. Alan Didack
