It’s a training run for Freo atm. Seriously, when will Goodwin be held accountable? He’s got to go, along with several of our players. We need to start again with a full on re-build.

So many of our players are disinterested or happy to not give 100%. That is a coaching problem. Clearly Goody’s messages aren’t getting through, or he has lost the players. It’s like we want to play finals, but aren’t willing to put in the effort to get there.

Not according to our pres who would sign Goodwin to a 10-year extension if she could.

Watch this now become a slog and arm wrestle where we just let the game drift away. Why not be proactive for a change, and simply attack……………you know, like we used to do when we were good? Weve become such a predictable and boring side. Contest defence, contest defence. Where is kicking goals in our list of priorities.

Impartial my backside. This just further highlights that the umpires will echo the AFL’s bidding and that their influence will be as swift as necessary to achieve their objectives.

Definitely like the way Battle goes about his footy. Also like his ability to play both ends of the ground and his penchant to rack up decent disposal numbers.

Depending on what the Crows offer us, I’d be tempted to trade him. Way too injury prone and inconsistent. Yes we are desperate for KPP’s, but he is not the answer long-term.

The 2 most heartening things from the game for me was the improvement in form of Salem & Clarry.

We are no longer in the conversation for this years flag. We’ve wasted our chances at winning a second premiership. Time to go down a mini/decent rebuild and get some list turnover. Our list depth is either too old or not good enough. Unfortunately some of our trade decisions have come back and bitten us on the [censored]. New leadership is needed, on-field and off it. Max, god love him, is no longer able to put in his Herculean efforts like he used to. Too much is being needed to be done by our best players’, and when they have down games due to always being looked upon to lead, no one else is stepping up. This has been coming for a couple of years, and despite our coach, pres & CEO continually saying they won’t be complacent, they have been left found wanting. We desperately need fresh voices, and those that have been in charge have refused to acknowledge or even allow this with their iron fists. Change is needed.
