Farewell Clayton Oliver
Already removed from favourites .. Clarry... never thought you were an Einstein but thought you a genuine chap... just...a few issues. Back to remembering 13 as Ooze 😉 Just as an aside ...cast your minds back .. Who ( players ) were only happy enough to laugh and joke with the arch enemy ?? Hmm

Tbh .. I really dont care how he goes. Nor any real interest in Clarry or Tracc if they move on. Just want us to get cracking 😉- Farewell Judd McVee
Futher to this notion ... they'll probably have off 12 for other picks beforehand. So, for sake of discussion.. We jand over Judd.. they hand over say 21 ( to pick something) We take 21, 23 and Spargo comp and try and get a decent upgrade back into the draft for probably only one decent player. We still have need of points for our little gems ( dont we ? )- Farewell Judd McVee
Assuming we get the Spargo comp pick i would use that...not 23... Just me 😀 Edit.. hypothetically take the 12 and 23 and try to upgrade to club needing academy points- Bailey Humphrey
Whether your view is biased or not truly won't matter. But this is the ACTUAL scenario Suns must be contemplating and this might as well be our stance when negotiating. Perceived Value is this . The trade needs to reflect a market value close to.....imho- Bailey Humphrey
Lots of interesting thoughts 🤔 on this subject 👍👍👍 Still early days- Bailey Humphrey
If Curnow escapes his cage he's going to the Bloods. GC have no chance at a look in there. Tracc fills their direct needs.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
For mine... 'tis ok if more than one club interested.- Farewell Christian Petracca
They'll play ball in some manner.. the carrots too tasty 😋- Farewell Judd McVee
Wasn't talking about the public. I get the feeling he may not have been totally straight up with us ( mfc ). That said despite any guff that emanated later in dont think the club was quite as surprised as it made our. I mean...player won't sign🤷♂️ player won't sign for 18 months 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🙄 He's going... so be it. Someone else gets a medal 😉- Farewell Christian Petracca
😉 fixed- Farewell Christian Petracca
Maybe a reason for that 🤔 😏 😉- Farewell Judd McVee

I dont think either owe either. Is what it is. That said... a little honesty goes a long way 😉- Farewell Christian Petracca
Easily gets to the weekend. Just have this odd feeling that after the w/e a few of the coconuts might drop from trees. Im sure everyone ( clubs ) want their wants to happen and are very mindful of next wed's deadline. A few clubs have played too cute in the past and will want to avoid that (again) . I reckon next Monday ( mad Monday) will be when the serious stuff goes down. Can't see much happening this week.... We'll see i guess.- Bailey Humphrey

An early winner of today's choccies 👍👏👏👏 I agree ... this seems to be looking more and more like an opportunistic purge. How much King understood this prior is maybe a curiosity. I too am surprised by its severity in so far as ... both Clarry and Trac. May doesn't particularly surprise me. This is indeed looking more and more like an agenda'd reset. So be it.- Rumours
That's right. Trade Week is about Teams looking to get from A to B . It's not about taking in the scenery ( maybe a 🛥 cruise .. ) or other pleasantries really it's ALL about realising goals. It's a bit akin to a tornado with all its accompanying collateral damage. A to B Melbourne's B doesn't have Petracca,Oliver nor May ..... ideally The path to B is whatever it needs to B- Rumours
Funny isn't how many preloaded their assessments and dissatisfaction with how things are going. The lack of any real understanding is strong in many. Fair Market 'Price' . Markets are a fluid interactive beast . Anything, and i mean anything is only worth what any 2 parties can and will agree to. Perceived Price, well thats the 'other' beast. Invariably the PP is where those 2 parties start as they are Invariably different for the two. Sometimes they CAN be close. Often not. The Market. Is it a buyers or a sellers market ? That will depend often on the amount of traffic and in which direction. Here we are seeing , at Melb, players seemingly shown the door and another doing it on own accord. You want them gone .... Price goes down. The volatility and tempo of the market. Unlike an open market with no date parameters, the AFL 🎪🤡🎪 occurs between set days. This may add impetus but it can also muddy things. Dependence/Non-Dependence. Are particular deals reliant upon other deals and therefore other 'perceived' valuations . Is deal independent and self standing. Is the deal even a deal or just a movement . Add into all of this are the dealers open to haggling or notoriously steadfast. It's been the observation of this curious spectator that every trade period tends to create its own momentum and tempo. It nearly always pivots upon one or two 'big' trades. Rarely is anything of any significance done early. Rarely. Most constructions require a vision of the resultant build and a plan to achieve it. The actual build starts with clearing/demolition.. followed by groundwork and foundations. This can often be the longest part ( foundations) . Once established what follows tends to happen quite quickly. Many trades WILL happen. Some won't and then scuttle those reliant upon them. As they are oft to say Rome wasn't built in a day. It's now ONLY day 2 of the Circus . Still a bit of water to go under bridges. Again it's day 2 The market is the 🎪 is the market. It will be whatever clubs need it to be to allow them to move forward. It ISNT about making fans happy or all warm and fuzzy. The 🎪 can be brutal. Where the AFL trade market DOES differ from many other commodities bazaars is that the Players have voice. Some are louder than others. Enjoy day 2- Troy Chaplin MFC interim coach 2025
Chaplin to Pies as FWD coach ?? 🤔 Works for me 🙄- Farewell Christian Petracca
