Welcome to Demonland: Aidan Johnson
Well welcome Aidan. I'm not for one moment comparing him to Ponsiadly in terms of ability .... but, someone(s) has seen something and we're prepared to roll a die. Sometimes it's about opportunity and effort. Well he's shown effort and application and now has an opportunity. No idea what will result. Am genuinely curious though. Good luck 👍

My heart goes out to the Parents and Family. .. to HIS friends at school, the school community and.wherever he touched others such as the Gladiators. My condolences to your lad and yourself. Unfathomable, it goes to place no parent/grandparent ever wants to go. So terribly sad :(- Gary Pert Quits as MFC CEO

Well what a day. Was not expecting that ( to actually happen ) but it does look like he's making the best fist of it a going out on his terms. Got to be a lot more to this and I'll just go get some wine and nibbles and see what develops. Personally I don't mind it as it seems we need to do a bit of a Phoenix ratm ....- Clayton Oliver

Well said Clarry ... . umm... I think 🤔.. That was then , this is now and tomorrow yet to come. If the wonder Boyz can turn back the clock a little and bring it.... be marvellous to see Hopefully Maysey a little less 'off' in 25.. Just keeping within the context of this being about Oliver, hope all goes well lad. Enjoy your break and look forward to you ripping it up in 25 ;) Go Dees- Wade Derksen
It's how we roll ( towards cliff... )- Are the Dees Still a Destination Club?
Possibly something that is overlooked are the childhood allegiances of players as they grew up. We all barrack for teams. Few get to play AFL footy and fewer get to Don the jumper of "their" team. Looking at the various attributable followings of teams is it any surprise some are favourites, some less so ? Yes AFL players are professional ( in the main ) but passions run deep and should opportunities arise is it any real surprise some feel drawn towards some clubs more than others. Ours (Dees ) hasn't historically enjoyed the numbers of the 'bigger' clubs Yes some lads ( now lasses ) have grown up wrapped in red and blue and had childhood dreams realised. There are many times more that wore a different guernsey and sang a different song.- Dees chasing Jimmy Bartel
Coz we don't already have enough shadows casting a pall over us ... lol - Delistings 2024
