  1. My team and the balance, always good to look at the depth if any Jetta McDonald Frost Dunn Garland HL Vince N Jones Kent Watts Hogan Howe Gawn Dawes Garlett Jamar Tyson Viney Toumpas Grimes Cross Salem
  2. Two players that I think will improve dramatically in 2015, Jimmy Toumpas and Jack Viney. Viney to me was very underwhelming in 2014 tried hard but just thought he had a very average year. The Toump, if anyone watch early preseason last year he was flying he just needs a massive dose of confidence. He has the ability and the tools, just needs the belief.
  3. Leave it up there until our current day players get this club off the bottom half of the AFL table
  4. Considering most the players that will be gone played stuff all games last year, it is simple.
  5. I think mid and tall, Wright and Brayshaw or Petracca. Wright is a beast and can kick the ball a long way. You set up our spine for the future with Wright, Hogan, Tyson, Frost, McDonald
  6. We are all hanging out for that star that some on here are blinded by what has been a good two weeks. You assess our list, our Midfield was OK last season, tired in the last 6-8 weeks and doesn't go deep but OK. We all sit in the stands crying out for a running HBF and a small forward, guess what we got a running HBF and a goal kicking small forward. You add Frost to this there is you tall defender. OK we want mids, Salem, Toumpas, JKH and in the players we pick with 2,3 and 23 you start to get that midfield depth. It was a good period.
  7. So we will most likely walk away at 2pm tomorrow with Premiership hard running HBF goal kicking small forward key Back Picks 2,3, 23 and Stretch plus Jetta upgrade And we lose Frawley, Clark, Byrnes, Nicholson, Clisby and most likely Blease, Strauss and Tapscott 8 changes to our senior list.
  8. No it won't, at worst we walk away with Garlett, Harry O, Frost, Stretch and picks 2,3 and 23, losing Frawley and Clark, we achieved what we set out to and improve our list, it just isn't that star that every Demon fan is crying out for.
  9. Find it interesting that the day Trengove is ruled out yesterday, all of the sudden Jack Watts Trade rumours appear on this site from nowhere.
  10. 4 more days of this, then we start to speculate on the draft choices. Good clubs make big decisions to improve their list, this is one. Same as the Bulldogs they should trade out Griffen, the reward for him will be overs by trading with GWS and long term they will win out of this deal. If we trade Jack we will win in the long run, no idea but it has it's merits. You would want pick 12 plus Richmonds second round pick for Trengove and our second round pick. That then gets you another first round pick plus a mid second round pick which will be enough to land Frost from GWS. What we then do with picks 2,3 and 12 who knows. If we finish up on Thursday with Harry O, Garlett, Frost, Stretch and picks 2, 3 and 12 and lose Frawley, Clark and Trengove, are we winners or losers?
  11. Gold Coast have the Sun, beach, theme parks, GWS have Rooty Hill RSL and in an area that no one cares, you may as well be playing VFL in front of 2500 people.
  12. Just you, two players that their current clubs don't want anymore doesn't make us a top 8 team.
  13. The Blues had the best small forward combination a couple of years back one left last season the other will be gone this trade period. Add Waite into the picture and Carlton has lost it's Full forward Line from two years ago.
  14. I think a fair trade for Clark would be Geelongs 1st and second round pick for Clark and our second round pick, which as it stands 14 and 35 to us for 23 and Clark to them add in our fourth round to get this done. This would be a good result
  15. An AA Full back that played as a key forward this year.
  16. It is alive but can be killed very quickly. From the start I think it is very clear that Adelaide want him to commit beyond next year and he is giving them the Tom Scully, James Frawley, Buddy Franklin and every other player that has left their club line, wait till end of next year, code for I will leave at the end of the year. If Adelaide aren't comfortable that he will commit beyond next year they would be mad not to look to trade him this year especially if the can get picks 2 and 3 in this years draft.
  17. Yes it is, maybe we should have all the recent fallen heros all on there, they were all taken to young and makes you put your own life in perspective.
  18. I believe pick is now awarded once the paper work is lodged not after the Free agency period finishes. So on Monday we will get our pick.
  19. Why are St Kilda a big winner? They get an oval they can't access for 6 months a year. Every club has moved or moved the cricket clubs off there ovals.
  20. You do know we could get nothing for him. He can walk away as a delisted Free agent after 31/10 list lodgement. Geelong doesn't have to deal with Melbourne, Clark would like them to to try and leave with guilt free but we will be shafted we will get nowhere near what we paid out
  21. Thats the easy part, nominating a club, now how do we get a deal that works knowing that Clark can walk as a Delisted Free agent. We are going to get rightfully shafted with this. I like the idea of Billy Smedts and third round pick for Clark and our fourth round pick.
  22. For Melbourne supporters April
  23. We don't want to a week out from trade week, but behind close doors I bet we are willing to part with 2 and 3 but we want a pick as well as Dangerfield. To me Pick 2 and three for Dangerfield and pick 10 plus some swapping of late picks works and all parties win. Executing the deal is the easy part getting Dangerfield to wanting to come to us is the hard part.
  24. I'm sure they ran this year as a handicapped race, so Fev had a head start
  25. Not to many would sit in the positive, if you keep throwing darts you are bound to get a bulls eye at some stage
