  1. yeah maybe, but one swallow doesn't make a summer. the op's point that US professional athletes are much older and therefore more mature when drafted is a valid point. By the time they have established themselves they are likely around 23-24 years old at least
  2. reckon jesse won't make his decision till this thread reaches 100 pages we are at 67 pages, so come on all you 'landers, start posting like crazy

  5. unfortunately the problem with that, pates, is that the nab challenge is there to prepare the clubs for the start of the season. having a 16 a side would require a different game plan to the season proper, so we would see a schemozzle of under-prepared teams come round 1
  6. you got a good point there, but maybe that's because nobody ever sees it worn. it is a bit 'orrible though. would suit the ferals down at @unt road
  7. it would definitely reduce congestion (which i hate), but i'd like them to keep reducing the interchange first to see if that works (and stop playing around with all these contentious contrivances like deliberate oob's)
  8. and it proves nothing. what does anyone think he was going to say "i went for the money after deceiving freo in order to get out".... yeah right any opinion is just speculative.......not reality

  11. no need to drag it out like stuie, pro. just accept a graceful defeat
  12. your comprehension meter needs adjustment pro you said "we took it to comical levels". i just corrected you. nothing mitigating or deflecting about that something that is already at comical levels can't then be "taken" to comical levels - capisce?
  13. an ex employee in the footy dept or in admin, redleg?
  14. you said we took it to comical levels. i pointed out that it was already at comical levels (e.g. carlton). no need to revise history. my navel is fine, thank you pd
  15. mills at 49 votes equals the record high set last year by one j hogan
