  1. i think the main problem with the 2nd option (south east corner) was no close access to ovals. i.e. no tunnel and probably mrc not wanting a new tunnel to be built, and of course the extra cost of a tunnel. and of course the reasons of transport difference luci explained
  2. i think the mt scopus site was always private property and not crown land
  3. little bit of video on the guineas tunnel (you can't see much on google maps satellite)

  5. ... apparently filth players are not to be called meatballs
  6. it should be emphasised that in these cases however it is different because it was the afl medical officer who forced the retirements no scope for club trickery here

  18. let's hope they will allow a reserved seat without the mandatory grand final priority tax (like they used to prior to 20220. it's especially onerous when you buy multiple tickets with kids

  24. no doubt there is a lot of psychological pressure involved during gameday but one of the benefits of practice, practice, practice (structured with supervision, analysis and follow-up, of course) is you develop a higher degree of instinctiveness and muscle memory, minimising the psychological game day nerves. it just staggers me we don't seem to apply an extensive scientific and professional approach to the most important skill ... i mean games are won or lost on goal kicking ... simple as that
