Um, where did you get the 2000 from? It was more like 6000+ IIRC
-
Well the thread is a train wreck now. Its too general Seems to now cover all drugs, all addiction and all levels of compassion I'm outta here
-
I'd like to see what Collingwood have done They have a CD/DVD with over a dozen different versions (not sure how many) of their theme song. One for every occasion
-
Well is this a better sauce? Patrick Keane @AFL_PKeane: Melbourne has upgraded Tom Couch from the rookie list as the replacement for Neville Jetta, who was already on the long-term injury list.

31st is a Sat. Doubt they will update on a weekend date, esp as so many will be signing up on match day Better comparison is to wait till Mon or Tues next week Remember the season started 4 days earlier last year (sun 27th) so they had time to collate and post the membership results well after the first game The best comparison date is really next Thursday i.e. 31st last year was the first Thursday after the first game.

hardtack this debate/discussion is not about every "drug" on the planet and whether Robbie has a drink now and again its about Ben Cousins and his addiction to specifically drugs such as chrystal meth bringing up a tu quoque argument to counter Robbie's points just sidetracks the discussion and avoids addressing his points

The spine says it all!

surely you'd swap Howe and Green Howe upfield, Green deep McKenzie BP??
-
isn't nicholson still a rookie?
-
C'mon hardtack, life is all about making choices and accepting responsibility for your actions (or at least it was) tu quoque (/tuːˈkwoʊkwiː/),[1] (Latin for "you, too" or "you, also") or the appeal to hypocrisy, is a logical fallacy that attempts to discredit the opponent's position by asserting his failure to act consistently in accordance with that position; it attempts to show that a criticism or objection applies equally to the person making it. This dismisses someone's point of view based on criticism of the person's inconsistency, and not the position presented.[2] Thus, it is a form of the ad hominem argument.[3]

at least if picked they won't be under any illusions as to why they are picked

Just a few questions regarding membership
daisycutter replied to Dee-Bortoli's topic in Melbourne Demons
the membership stall will definitely have game day passes -
mfc's uncovered reserve seating is a cheap deal compared to other clubs its about $50. I got a seat about 5metres east of members just on the roof line. if it rains i quickly move back under cover (always spare seats) and you get to sit with mfc only supporters

Was it just me or did the eulogy by the Reach lady drop the F-Bomb? "A time to plant, a time to ...." I replayed it and it still sounded like it Hope I am wrong and will head off for a de-waxing -
Dublin Jim - The (other) Jim Stynes documentary

It was re-issued on DVD, I've got a copy Don't have any idea if still available I would expect an updated one would be planned by somebody already Edit: error, sorry it was a VHS tape see post #9 -
Didn't Eddie say he would sabotage our sponsors? On reflection I think I'll blame Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvilli Demetriou cos I think he is still out to get us.

First I thought it must be the fault of the Norm Smith/MCC jinx Then I thought no, it most probably is T$'s fault Then I read somewhere that it was obviously CS's fault and he should be sacked forthwith Then on reading Dr W's thesis I concluded it must be the apathetic mfc supporters fault Now you are telling me it is JW's fault I can't wait till the end of the season to trade him

Casey Scorpions v Williamstown
daisycutter replied to The Song Formerly Known As's topic in Melbourne Demons
IIRC Neald wants him to play 16 games this season (spread across VFL, TAC and prob school) -
And don't forget DJ.....................................during

I think this 6 weeks vs 1-2 weeks recover argument is too conveniently overstated Such injuries can vary a lot in severity and whether there is also collateral injury I also don't think it was the (or one of main) reason they moved him on I agree with rpfc that we couldn't afford to lose the experience of both Bruce and Jnr and weren't expecting Bruce to go Having experience in a side can sometimes also be as important to development as pumping games into raw players
-
Rhino why on earth would you take task over such an innocuous post, and why on earth would you bring Carl Williams into the discussion? Sometimes you seem to be obstreperous for no good reason.

I notice the Scorps game is at 6pm going up against the AFL Giants blockbuster (ahem) in Sydney town (actually just beating them for the kickoff time) Wouldn't it be great if more people turned up to the Scorps game
