Casey Demons v Sandringham - Round 19
Looks like the injuries are catching up with us.

Melbourne and Matthews
Prince Park. Smith was playing on Leigh and killing him. Smith was in the State side in the game to come. Leigh king hit him and I think broke his jaw, as well as knocking him out cold. Smith was stretchered off, missed the State game and I think most of the rest of the season. Absolute thug act.

Training - Saturday 11 August, 2018
Agree, Harmes has been one of our biggest improvers this year and is an automatic best 22.

Round 21 Non MFC Games
After the ball is disposed of by Saad and is about 10 metres away from him and is just about to be caught by Tip-Mc, while Saad is looking at the ball, Nathan Brown takes 3-4 steps and bumps Saad, who didn't see him coming. The bump is illegal and the consequence is a factor. Brown will be suspended

I don't think I have ever heard anyone call Leigh a Champion. He was a brilliant player, but I agree with you, if you use the word champion in a best and fairest sense, he falls far below the criteria. He would be the first picked in my team though, for all of his talent and aggression.

Gets worse. A few days ago Leigh was asked why he hadn't spoken to Bruns, who has reached out several times to meet him. Leigh said simply because he didn't want to and in a fairly pathetic comment said " now you have reminded me of the incident and refreshed it". He was angry at that. Pretty pathetic answer from a so called tough guy. I saw him king hit Steven Smith and Peter Giles from behind, knocking them out and causing further damage and they were two of the most vicious, unprovoked, assaults I have ever seen on a football field. While I think he is the best player all around, I have seen, he was also a thug. Not that he was the only one of course, in days gone past, but the condemnation of Gaff for one incident, when compared to these thugs of the past is quite startling.

Dayne Beams
Lot of snowflakes in Brisbane then. Dons and Pies favoured, though Roos and Saints will obviously join in and offer him the suburbs of North Melbourne and Moorabbin.

Changes vs Sydney
Unlike others, when the Coach has declared a player will play, it has turned out that way this year.

Rd 23: Opposition Watch vs GWS
That selection of Petty over Frost against the Saints and also not selecting Frost against Port is looking great now, isn't it?
-
Changes vs Sydney
Not according to the Coach.
-
Changes vs Sydney
Disagree. Think Frost will start on Buddy.

Andrew Gaff
No worries.

Run home to Finals - 2018
That is a lovely post.

Jordan Roughhead
Yep. If we have decided that King and Filipovic aren't going to make it, then Roughead would be a good get to back up Max, until Bradtke is ready, or someone else comes along. He is 27 and could easily play for 3-4 years and he is a " Premiership Ruckman."

Andrew Gaff
I heard that, but then shortly after it was said that Gaff will meet Andrew. Not sure if there is some confusion in the reporting. If he is meeting Gus, then we are likely in the picture to get him, you would think.

Andrew Gaff
And your answer to my question is?

What the Fritsch
I don't know.

Andrew Gaff
Gus told you that has he, or you are just speculating as if it is a fact?
