Sorry for the delay I just worked out how to do it. Anyway both players are about the same height and you can see Brayshaw lower his height as the punch came. It clearly altered the target. Look where Gaff's fist would have struck if Brayshaw was standing up. If that is an uppercut it has come from a long way down. To me he wanted to hit him in the chest or even lower towards the gut.

Well if you saw it you would know that Gaff tried to hit him in the chest. Not excusing it, but it is probably helpful to state facts. Look at Gaff’s arm and fist at contact Given that and Gaffs history and comments after, it is open to believe that Gaff never intended to hit him in the mouth. I don’t think he intended what happened, but it is what it is. He deserved hi penalty.
