We will need the money he would cost to keep and develop our own.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
Firstly I didn’t have a privileged background. We were so poor that my parents couldn’t afford shoes for me and painted my feet black to look like I was wearing shoes. Often they couldn’t afford clothes for me and my father would let me borrow his cap so I could look out our window and people wouldn’t know I was naked. My only pet was a rock which I carried around. I don’t think I am becoming schizophrenic but my reflection does. What does he know, he is always just shooting his mouth off. Now if you talk to my shadow he is cool and we are on the same page.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Interesting that you attacked me and not my opinion. Also interesting that you labelled me with entirely lacking self awareness, when you probably don't know the first thing about me. Anyway, I said it was only an opinion and a very hard argument to win.

Troy Broadbridge ... 26 December, 2004
Very sad memories of a tragic day.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Not so sure, as this generation seems to be a softer, more entitled one, than the ones before. This seems to be a "me" generation. Anyway it is a difficult argument to win, but just an opinion.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I can’t recall off the top of my head being more invested in a player recently, than I was with Jesse. Then seeing him play for Casey that first year, I got really excited at what he might bring to the Dees. I wrote on DL that he was the closest I had seen to a young Carey. Well that is now history for me and the Dees. It is a lesson to me even at my age, not to invest too heavily in individual players, but rather the team as a whole. Good luck JH at the Dockers, though not against us. I have a pretty strong feeling that he won’t achieve the status in football that I thought he would back in his Casey days, but it is up to him and tbh, I don’t really care anymore. Go Dees and merry Xmas DL’s.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Well we don't leak like a sieve anymore. He was not traded just because he was happy to go home. You can back that in.
