I think a few people are being spooked by Pert, because PJ has been so good and a few people are hearing gossip about some problems at Collingwood, which if true you would hope he has learned from. He was there for 11 years and oversaw their transformation, along with Eddie, to a powerhouse club. Hopefully he does a great job for us. If he is no good he can be moved on.
  2. My biggest fear is the fatigue factor. I think we would need to be well up at 3/4 time to feel safe.
  3. Not really. I agree he deserves his chance, but don't think he will make it.

    Stupid.

The interesting thing with Gaff would be whether the Eagles have made him an offer. If they have and he is just ignoring it, I think he is gone.If his Manager is negotiating with the Eagles then I think he will stay. If the Eagles haven't made him an offer, then they either realize he is going, or are just stupid. If you want to keep a player, you make them an offer and start negotiating. A failure to do so is a negative sign to the player. On the same note, I hope we are in negotiations with Gus and Oscar.
  6. JKH has not developed as we had hoped, but his form at Casey has been great. He deserves his chance, as did Billy and Frost last week. JKH is small and lacks pace, but he has been able to find plenty of ball and goals at Casey, in generally poor conditions and has clearly earned his recall and a chance to cement a place on the list and possibly even in the 22. Do I think he will be on the list in 2019, not if he fails in this game.
  7. I can't believe with that star studded trio as well as Guthrie, Kelly and Duncan, that the Cats are the worst clearance side in the AFL. It just beggars belief.
  8. We would probably need to overcome the 3-4 soft goals the Cats will be given as well.

4.35 pm on a saturday. A strange time for us to be playing.
  10. Does Bernie know Gaff?
  11. I actually think on the narrower ground we are a chance to beat them.

Let alone twice in the one game and one of those was about 15 meters directly in front.

Hunter was injured last week and MacRae seems to be coming back very quickly from a Hamstring.

This going to the team you followed is not a trend in the AFL, just ask Juddy, Buddy and Prestia.

Especially at home, as Tom Jones said.

Yes, the Sun prints the frees at the bottom of the player stats and states the location they were paid, D50, Mid, F50.

Clearly not. Actually the grass covers more ground than ANB and has better skills.

Saw an article that said according to the author, he was staying or coming to the Dees.

If the AFL website article is correct, he is either staying or coming to us. Other clubs seem to be out of the picture.
