  1. You mean like our last 2?
  2. Been saying the same. Not sure about the next year at Casey comment though.
  3. Correct, he wasn’t.
  4. We don't deserve daiquiries atm, more like mashed banana on mouldy bread.
  5. He is great in other areas that we also need and we can carry one poor user of the ball. The problem is he has about 15 mates with the same level of disposal skill.
  6. That's the puzzling thing, we don't have a [censored] list. Yes our injuries have killed us. The Roos and Suns had 1-2 out each, while we were without our quickest and best ball users and then we lose another XL in the first few minutes. We may improve when these guys return, but if not, we are ending up near the bottom and without our first pick.
  7. Something is wrong. Langdon, Rivers, Fritta, Howes and JVR as examples, are playing horribly. JVR dropped 3 chest marks yesterday. Fritta dropped about 3 and missed 3 shots and his tackling is a joke. Langdon is turning over the ball every possession, as is Rivers and Howes is panicking and giving it away too often. What is causing this? We know Viney has poor disposal, but now Oliver and Tracc are turning it over regularly. Max couldn't give a 3 metre handball yesterday under no pressure, that would have given us a certain goal. I repeat, something is wrong, players don't lose all their skill overnight.
  8. So who is responsible for basic skill errors like our inability to pass, handball, mark, tackle and kick for goal? We are now terrible at all of the above. We are an error riddled team, apparently devoid of any confidence in the game plan, if they even know what it is and each other. There has to be something wrong somewhere.
  9. Interesting they take Knobel when then have Witts, Moyle and Read.
  10. You mean Suns not match fit like Tom Green who with 35 possies was the leader in our game against the Giants. Hope you are right though, this is now a seriously important game for us to get our season going, or possibly watch it fall away early, with the Cats at Cotton On Park next friday.
  11. Not only do we not have a Nibbler or Gus type, we also don’t have a Jordon or Bedford type, who can lock down a mid/forward who is hurting us.
  12. As well as getting Kalani.
  13. Ran 4th tried hard and retired. With Witts, Moyle, Knobel and Read at the Suns, Kalani’s choice should be pretty easy. We will need to draft another ruckman in the next year or two, or trade one in.
  14. What has happened to Roy?
  15. Well that was very enjoyable.
  16. Did Caro or Dwayne mention it?
  17. Howes came to us as a mid/ forward and has been pushed to the hbf. He has played some good games there and some not so good, much like other players in our side. I would move Rivers back to hbf and try Blake mid or forward.
  18. Speaking of smoothies, the banana smoothie still remains the best IMO. The green smoothie can be wretch inducing, the berry smoothie can fill the mouth with seeds and the Acai smoothie can be very rich and sickly sweet.
  19. Well this thread suddenly took a turn.
  20. Being the author of this thread I thought I would be the first to post under the new upgraded DL. Go Dees against Suns tomorrow.
  21. I think some of the horses 🐎 like bananas 🍌.
  22. Vongole having probably his last start on friday at Cranbourne in race 7 at 9.15 PM. Still trying hard to win at 9 years old. Won't mention the Dees atm, as a few of them are looking like they are retiring too, the way they are playing.
  23. The point of the thread was the prioritising of stories, not us being picked on. Yes we have had a lot of issues lately, but most of our own making and deservedly so. When your two best players are possibly leaving, that is big news for example.
  24. You have missed my point. My post is about the media concentrating on a minor matter, as though it was a murder, rather than other more serious or interesting matters, that are available to be spoken about. People need to stop reading into posts what they think is being said, instead of what is actually being said. It was not a "woe is me" post, it was a comment on the media, turning a small matter into WW3, hence the title "Media Madness".
