2025 MRO & Tribunal
Absolutely not. Croft put his head into that, as Serong was low going for the ball. Nothing to answer. PS: Does Ginnivan get a week for punching Zorko to the throat before the game started? Clear potential to cause serious injury. Of course he won’t be suspended, he isn’t May or Kozzie.

Over the boundary and no free to Langdon. Have seen this several times in other games by Daicos and never penalised. A protected species.

POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood

Agree. Also, I note the lack of instinct when we have the ball, say from a mark, no one is standing the mark and there is 20-30 metres of open space. We just stand there instead of gaining the 20-30 metres for a start and then knowing where to kick to keep possession and gain more ground. It smacks of a group of players that don’t instinctively know what they are doing.- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Well I suppose if it was announced on saturday night, or the next day sunday after the PF, that is Preliminary Final weekend and also GF week. The man thing is the Coach will be in place before trade week begins.- POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
It sounds funny to say this, but if a 37 year old, who has played over 400 games, goes off injured earlier in the game, we win. The guy is a freak.- Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?
And two out on the full.- NON-MFC: Round 24
11 holding the ball frees to Port to 1 for Suns. I saw 10 blatant frees not paid to the Suns in the last quarter, several close to their goal. The commentators said the umpiring was extremely poor and I think Riccuto said it was as bad as he has ever seen. I thought Dimmas’ head would explode.- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
I could see one or two of that group leaving. We will make list changes as we do every year, we just have to hope that the changes improve us.- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
If I said to you we have the two Daicos bothers, would you say we are a finals side? When you lose 7 of 8 games by under 12 points, including finals teams, you are not that far away. A few list changes, development of youngsters like Langford, Lindsay, Kolt, Windsor, Kentfield, Jeffo, White, Sinemma, Adams, AMW, Mentha etc, a fully understood game plan and improved fitness will help us compete for finals again.- Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?

We ran two desperate finals teams to a goal in the last 3 weeks, without several injured players. We are not that far away.- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
And Kanga is a strong Pies fan and the Pies want Goschs oval, which will only be available if we give it up. We would only give it up if we have an alternate venue. Do you think the Pies might have had a quiet chat with Kanga and told him to stop worrying about where he would walk his dog? Anyway the announcement of Caulfield Racecourse as our new home, will help our recruiting of players imo, as well as getting our players excited about their new home.- Choco Williams axed
Might be in the Caulfield Racecourse Training Facility fundraising area, or just getting him out of the soft cap, but still working with younger players.- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Yes that’s true, but talk is the first part of good communication and he seems to handle that part very well. Reputation and experience are other important attributes and he appears to have those, though of course not in a football scenario yet.- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Thanks for posting the link. He sounds very impressive from that brief interview and is apparently across most areas of the club already. As you would know from my posting, I particularly loved the comment that “we would be at Caulfield Racecourse, with an announcement in the near future”.- Trade Targets
Are you serious? Clark is a star at Dockers couldn’t get a regular game at Cats. Baker hardly played for us. Martin is playing far better than at Blues.- Trade Targets
Obviously the North recruiter and most of the experts thought he would be a better player. Players can improve at a new club. As an example, look at Jack Martin at Geelong, he is killing it. Oscar Baker is another. Jordan Clark another. etc, etc.- Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?
It’s interesting no one has announced their retirement. Sounding like the doubtful senior players are going around again. - Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
