Why would he leave that role with the Cats to take it on with us, other a than heap more money, which I am not sure we have? He is regarded as the best development Coach in the AFL and if did come across with King, it would be a sensational get for us.

I am no expert on termination payouts, but surely this can’t be right. He could not take the Swans job if he was still employed by us. Surely the employment contract envisaged this scenario, as it is not a new one. Hopefully there will be some offset.

Injured for some of his first year with us and then a season ending injury this year. I would try and do a deal on his last year of his 3 year contract with us, but it looks like he is staying. He does have talent, if only he could get and stay fit.
