It was not smart to attack the media guys, but we know that Clarry is not smart. I do feel however he was justified in feeling furious with the media, given his mental health issues and the fact that unlike with other cases of players with mental health issues, they actually hounded him, instead of giving him space to deal with his problems. I will never accept that he was treated the same as others. He was a target of the media and in my opinion some of their behaviour was despicable. I would have liked to have seen a Doctor or his family, come out and slam them. So many others are given the “ leave them alone treatment “ but not Clarry. I fully understand his frustration and his feelings that he has been victimised and I agree with him. I hope he is left alone now by the media and can get better and has success, except when against us of course and maybe being in outer Sydney will assist that process. Thanks for what you did for us and now onto the next stage of your footy career and life. All the best Clarry, forever a Demon star.

I did say twice “ if they were ready to go”. I would assume with all the time taken they have got planning, finance and plans done. If they havent it will obviously take longer.

Yes, if they are ready to go when they make the announcement, I believe the whole project can be completed in 2 years. They can put up a 10 floor building in a year, so 2 years would be ample time to get it done, IF as I said, they are ready to go at announcement time.

My opinion. Won’t take two years to prepare a couple of ovals and build a couple of buildings, one being only a sort of large indoor sports hangar with some medical and coaching meeting rooms etc.

I believe the entire project should be able to be completed in 2 years of the announcement. Assuming we get that at the AGM, I would hope it’s ready by the 2028 pre season.

I am surprised no one suggested a banana smoothie after our Trade Period concluded. Surely it was worth celebrating.

Sorry Hardtack, I am away and with poor WiFi and only my iphone, but article was in today’s Sun, so hopefully someone can put it on for you. I will try but unlikely.

Another reason keeping 24 in the Tracc deal could have been important.

I just read the article in the Sun on Amber Whalan, a mother of three and a fanatical Dees fan, who passed away at 38 from Cancer, after a brave fight. I was crying reading the article, looking at the photos of her and her kids and still am. Life is still there to live outside footy and for some, it is just so unfair and sad. She loved her family and friends and the Dees and it is nice to know our team gave her so much joy, while she was fighting a terrible health battle. Do yourselves a favour and read the article and reflect as I have done, that while we are all fans of our team, there is a lot more going on in life and in the end it is a sport to enjoy but not life. So maybe we can be a bit better to each other when we disagree and in the way we treat our players and ex players. RIP Amber and sincerest condolences to your family and friends.

I understand. Now that you have joined an AFL foundation club, with a long celebrated history and will be able to play at the world famous home of football, the MCG, for about 15 games each season, in front of good crowds and huge ones when playing other foundation clubs, I can understand why you will be able to take your game to a new level, while you weren’t able to do that at your former club.

Ghosty can not be locked out of training permanently, maybe occasionally. It would be a disaster if true.

Wasted energy to worry about him now. I am not booing any player who left us currently and have only booed one ex player and I don’t even say his name, but his initials are T$ and he was our number 1 draft pick years ago. He got money, but little success and is now a forgotten player. I wish the same basically for those that leave us in similar circumstances, little footy success at their new clubs. Players like ANB who leave for true family reasons are exempt from my wish. Now back to our players and a successful football future with the Dees.

Footy can be tough. Zak Jones played some good footy this year, including against us and has been delisted.

Come on Picket, Clarry was my favourite player too, but I am not going anywhere and neither should you. Neither of us know how far off the rails Clarry fell, but we can be sure that he would never have been traded, unless it was absolutely necessary.
