No, if we get most of our injured players back, I am still optimistic. I think I would be happy to retire McADam and take John Blight as a key back and if another retired, say Campbell or May, take a punt on Ah Mu. I think if Ah Mu can be trained up as an AFL player, he could be a chance.

Yes but Viney then can’t come back onto the list if we have filled his spot until another spot opens.

Yes. No.

If someone leaves the list a spot opens up.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
That is an interesting observation. If true we have seen his best.

2026 Supplemental Selection Period draft prospects
You are confusing the two terms. LTI is just a long term injury list. To have another list spot, the spot needs to be created by someone leaving and going on the Inactive list, by say retiring or walking away from the club, or being effectively delisted by the club.

2026 Supplemental Selection Period draft prospects
I could see all three retiring, with maybe McAdam later in the season. TC is a 34 year old who didn’t play a game last year and has a neck injury. We now have Heath, Kalani in a season or two and Ah Mu could be the TC replacement, who is a big Ruck Forward and 16 years younger. May in his last year and now with more issues, could be paid out and retires. That could give us 2 picks now and one mid season.

I think they are too busy in Court.

Berlzebub has posted that this tunnel could be done in a few weeks. Then done at a time when there are no Caulfield race meetings.

Yes.

Sorry Picket, are you talking about Caulfield or Goschs or Waverley? if it’s Caulfield, the Trust will lease use of the ovals area to the MFC, for their use, with the ability potentially for other community use, when not needed by the MFC. The buildings area would be leased I would imagine, to the MFC, for its exclusive use for a very, very long term.

You mean walking the dog on an oval, being used in a training session by approximately 40 fit footballers, kicking footballs and running everywhere. Yes I see that happening often.

Also moving to Waverley would add extra costs and I am concerned the AFL could somehow use it to keep us there.

Whoops. Thanks now fixed.

I am sure most on here and the Club agree with you. That is not why we are looking at Caulfield.

Kate Hore engaged to Corey Maynard
I do. I assume he is Peter Maynard’s oldest son, the brother of Brayden.

Congratulations Kate and Corey on your engagement, Kate will be Brayden’s Sister in Law.

And of course we would become the best wet weather team in the AFL. Wettest area in Melbourne and one of the coldest. Players would absolutely love it.

What has MA Services Group got to do with Guerra? I would imagine Grill’d decided to bail before Guerra came on board.

In a facility that another club couldn’t wait to be rid of.

You can poach other train on players if they are happy to join your club.

That’s why we shouldn’t move there. Why move to facilities that weren’t good enough for another club, even temporarily? With Gosch's now in demand from Tennis and the Pies, we should keep the pressure on for Caulfield, by staying until it is ready to move to. What is the relevance of being closer to Casey, when players don’t go from Waverley to Casey, but rather from their homes to Casey? Don’t like the sounds of this. Am I missing something?
