2025 MRO & Tribunal
Finn Maginnes who suffered a lacerated kidney from a knock might be very interested in that ruling. Darcy is now a recidivist in injuring players with his knees and yet escapes punishment every time. Jack Reiwoldt, Garry Lyon and even Nathan Buckley said he should have been suspended.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Darcy Moore and Brayden Maynard not cited by ex Pies premiership MRO. Nothing to see here. Dropping the knees into a guys back just fine. Pushing a guy into the dugout just fine.

May to Tribunal
I think that fractured eye socket was caused by a Tom Hawkins elbow to the face, which of course was deemed accidental. May said he lost vision in the eye for a while. Has Moore been cited for the knees into the back of Treacy? Has Maynard been cited for pushing Murphy Reid into the dugout?

Judd McVee Contract
With 5 weeks to go in the season, it is concerning, that a player is still not signing, after having an Offer from the club since last year and obviously several negotiations since. Hopefully we get some good news soon.

May to Tribunal
Agree. Pearce charged at the player from a distance and while attempting to correct at the last moment, he knocked the player out and into the air, spinning around. It was a far more violent incident and outcome, but as some have said it is May, not Darcy Moore. Ed Richards raised his forearm and hit a player in the head, knocking him out, but got off because he had the footy. One thing that may help him, is that nearly all of the ex players are saying he actually did nothing wrong. He doesn't brace, turn his shoulder and is running straight at the ball. Contact is made to the top of May's shoulder, not his bicep. Evans is also not in front of him, but coming from the side and Evans also owed May a duty of care too and could have protected himself by deviating, or putting an arm up, as Barrett said on the Sunday Footy show. It will be interesting, but as I said in another post, May could need a couple of weeks off anyway, given his concussion history, so we might be talking about one extra game if he gets three, as the AFL seems to be seeking.

May to Tribunal
Ed Richards knocked out an opponent with a forearm and they called it a football act, so May has a chance. Best thing is he didnโt turn his shoulder to Evans and he was running straight at the ball and then didnโt brace or lift his arm.

NON-MFC: Round 19
No need to get nasty.
-
May to Tribunal
There are 5 rounds left and we play Pies in the last, so in your premise May gets 5.
-
May to Tribunal
Given his concussion history maybe he should miss 2 games anyway.

May to Tribunal
Sent straight to the Tribunal.

Trade Targets
I can see the Bombers using our traded pick with their own, to target Harley Reid.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Just as an exercise, can somebody calculate the free kicks and goals from frees and 50 m penalties in the last 4 games we played against Carlton.
-
Umpiring standard
We will say nothing as usual. 6-7 goals from frees and 50โs. 11 to zip frees in last quarter at one stage. Blatant frees ignored to us and doubtful ones paid one way to them all night. Commentators even were bewildered several times.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs Carlton
I donโt know who is worse us or the umpires.

Clarrys 200th
Congrats Clarry. My favourite player and the best contested ball player I have ever seen. Get back to your best and we will be congratulating you on your 300th for us and maybe a couple more flags.

Trade Targets
GWS โreservesโ leading goalkicker.

Trade Targets
If he comes to us he could be handy, but it needs to be borne in mind that he will be 24 and has been at the Giants for over 3 years and hasnโt yet played a senior game.
-
Trade Targets
I think Dimma has shut this one down.

Trade Targets
Hopefully JT and TL have.

NON-MFC: Round 19
He did and correctly. Field umpire came in and called for reviews.

PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Absolutely. Have been saying it for a couple of weeks now. Should have the game off and go home for a freshen up for a few days.

Can we talk about Kolt?
Cam took a few years to get going by the way. In Rayner's second year, he played 24 games for 224 disposals, at 9.3 disposals a game. In Kolt's first year 2024, he played 10 games for 117 disposals at 11.7 disposals a game. Rayner was the number 1 pick in his year and Kolt number 13 in his year. You would expect therefore Cam to be a far superior player than Kolt at about the same stage of their careers. Kolt has come off an injury, with an interrupted pre season and has had a difficult year. Lets cut him some slack as we did for Jeffo and others and I am confident he will come good and we will have another good player in our side, plus he has some sh-t in him and I personally love that.

Can we talk about Kolt?
Kolt and Caleb are suffering 2nd year blues, after injuries. The will be better next year, hopefully injury free and after good pre seasons. They donโt have to be stars at 20.
