CASEY: Practice Match vs Sandringham
Not many talls are better than ok below the knees, a good kick and a nice mark would describe many AFL players. Being better in those categories usually is a description of the better players in the AFL.

CASEY: Practice Match vs Sandringham
While not with the same enthusiasm obviously, I do share PFâs view that Jeffo will make it and I have held this view since early on after he started at Casey. I donât think he will be the âsmash the packâ type key forward, but rather a bit more like Fritta, with the advantage of a bigger body. He is a good kick, nice mark and ok below his knees. To me the missing ingredient is confidence and a feeling of belonging, rather than âthe next time I make a mistake I am goneâ type of feeling. It appears from some recent comments that the Coach is a fan and we will see how he goes this year, Jeffoâs most crucial so far, as he heads towards that âwill he or wonât heâ decision by the FD.

2025 MFC Injury List
It highlights how bad it is for fit players to waste games getting suspended.

Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
I hope you all feel sorry for me. It is my birthday, sort of, at the end of the week, but only for a second at midnight on Friday the 28th, ending before Saturday the 1st of March.

Yes and they both played in the side last year in several games. Hopefully AMW returns better than before and has a very good AFL career with us.

Disagree. AMW has played hbf in the senior side. He may have gone forward, but I don't believe he was ever going to be playing midfield this year. A terrible injury for him.

Trade Targets
If that rumored $17m for 10 years offer is true and and to come home and he is knocking it back for $4m over 4 years, wow, just wow.

We are talking about a 3-4 day extension and given a big club is in the same boat and the situation is patently and obviously unequal, I think we are a real chance to grab a replacement. As I said in an earlier post, donât ask donât get.

So the clubs are adopting my suggestion/proposal. As I said, it is totally unfair for some clubs to be playing their match sims after the SSP period closed, while others played earlier. All clubs should be treated the same and all play earlier or later. I think all clubs have now played their match sims, so what is so bad with extending the SSP to say Tuesday, 4 days longer.

That is going too far, because we simply donât know. He may develop or he may not, but he hasnât had the chance to do that yet. He deserves his chance and he will get it and good luck to him.

Kentfield told GW he would be out for a long time. He is getting over a potential life threatening illness. Is that a good enough insight, straight from the horses mouth. I am unsure if he will play Reserves this year, but I know he wonât play AFL this year. It would have taken the pressure off him too, which would help him. We now have a few out for the year and several on long term injuries. I would definitely ask the AFL to replace AMW.

What is patently unfair, is having some clubs play games after the SPP period ends, while others don't. It should be the same for all. End the SSP after all match sims, or before them, but not in the middle. Everyone knows contact sport is a higher risk of injury than just training. I hope he is fine, but if AMW is out for the year, we should be asking the AFL to be able to replace him. They already dudded us last year, medically retiring Gus a few days after the SSP period ended and not letting us replace him then.
