The braying, whinging, booing Saints fans annoyed me so much last night that I found myself in the unfamiliar position of hoping that Port Adelaide would win.

I could see that working. The four of them could corral him so he couldn't move at all.

I just can't get into trade/draft talk this early in the season, particularly as we still have games, finals and a premiership to be won. It all just seems very premature.

I would imagine the reason metres gained is so low is that most of his possessions were either a kick or a handball backwards or across the ground or a handball to a teammate running past. I'm guessing "metres gained" is only counted when the disposal sends the ball forwards (towards goal) or the player is running forwards with the footy.
