Sorry mate, wasn't having a go at you at all, more so those outside the club. I see the old 'cancelled camp responsible for everything' got another run this week as well!

My understanding is that the AFL instructed all nine clubs still in contention for finals to send out those emails. Had we made it, another club would have been seen to be getting ahead of themselves and copped the ridicule. Unfortunately, nobody really seems interested in the truth when there is an opportunity to sh1tcan Melbourne.

This weekend is a personal milestone for me in that it will be 200 weeks since I last drank alcohol. I've told friends I'll have a beer when Melbourne wins the flag. After such a long time off it, I think I'd be less of a two-pot screamer and more of a Cadbury's (a glass and a half) or even an Omo (less than a third of a cup).

In my first ever game of under 12s, I only got one kick. It slewed off the side of my boot and through for a point to the opposition.

Someone posted a few years ago at a VFL game where the opposition supporters were sticking it to the Demons fans for being rich etc. One of our blokes finally answered back with "Shut up or we'll put your rent up".
