  1. I remember that! Would you believe that was as far back as 1995 and Brisbane were still The Bears. Clarko was still at North Melbourne (came to us the following year) so I doubt it would be memorable to him.
  2. I've got a sneaking suspicion that 1987 may bob up on more than one occasion in the remaining 16 instalments.
  3. Never heard it mentioned! Bet you didn't know that Mark Blicavs was tall and athletic.
  4. Jeez, not only had that gag about hot coals already been posted, I gave the original post a 'like' at the time as well. Hello darkness, my old friend...
  5. Remember the early days when players would walk over hot coals for a chance to play there?
  6. The cynic in me thinks that all this noise that Eddie is making about Port Adelaide's jumper and the Sherrin footballs are convenient ways to move the spotlight away from his own stinking club and the Heretier Lumumba issue.
  7. If he's busy, you could also ask his wife, Joan of Ark.
  8. Yes, of course. Stop being pedantic dc, that's my job!
  9. Of course they count, it's just that old dee can't remember them. ?
  10. 15 of the past 16 premierships have been coached by blokes who hadn't previously coached at other clubs.
  11. Throw in Jimmy Jess and we'd have the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost!
  12. I thought he played full-back for Jerusalem.
  13. Never has so much been posted by so many about something so insignificant.
  14. Can I just be the first to say ... "Sack Yze!!".
  15. I was rapt that we teased Carlton into thinking they were a chance. Result never in doubt!
  16. If you'd told me before the game that we'd be five goals up at half-time, I would have been thrilled. Don't panic!
  17. I agree, but half of those on the list above didn't even play as forwards.
  18. Sorry I haven't replied earlier dc; I've been out in the garden pulling weeds in this lovely sunshine. Survey after survey shows that the ABC is the most trusted news source for Australians. Personally, I don't find them biased like those of a Conservative nature seem to think. That's just my opinion. Others have a different opinion and I'm fine with that, I just don't agree with them.
