Taylor Walker - sanction for racism
Demonstone replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
What about Karlton, Kollingwood or Phremantle? -
I thought that Dangerfield slipped at the last moment and that Greene's fend-off would otherwise have contacted him in the chest. Not guilty in my opinion, but I stopped trying to predict the Tribunal's decisions a long time ago.

The Saints.

Go Jiants!!
-
Generally speaking, perhaps. Please be gentle with me on this.

Can someone please explain to leave it to deever that he can press the mute button and that he is not being forced to listen to the commentators.
-
Gee, thanks.

The conspiracy theory lives! Onya Clint.

Why do some posters spell Geelong with a "J"? I just don't get it.

There's been a discussion about this taking place on the Jack Viney thread. Merge perhaps? -

The players or the stadium surface?

The decreased crime rate goes far beyond the burglars needing to apply for JobKeeper. The lockdowns also prevent groups of idiots gathering at pubs and other venues then committing random acts of violence, sexual assault, property damage, traffic offences and other forms of drunken stupidity.

I had my second AZ shot last week and have experienced no side effects whatsoever. My GP noted that the number of people coming down with the flu this season has decreased dramatically as a result of the mask wearing and frequent hand sanitising that has been occurring as a response to COVID. Another side benefit is the reported decrease in the crime rate with people staying at home more often.

I'd much prefer a win plan.

Not sure that was ever a position, radar!

I've got ten more lined up ready to go Timothy, but have held off due to puzzle overload on the site. At this stage, I may even wait until the off season when there's not much else happening. Crompton's poser was never solved and I had to PM him to find the answers!

Geelong ruckman. Steven King. Not to be confused with the author - different kind of horror.

I can't see how Maynard is worth anything near the equivalent of pick 10. Talk about overs! In addition, I would like to retain Weed for at least another couple of years. Finally I wouldn't want that seagulling, chip-scab Sidebottom anywhere near my footy club.

Positional names have changed over the years. Back when I first started playing and following footy in the 60s, these were the names used: B: Former rover who has lost a yard in pace Loneliest man in the world Rock of Gibraltar H/B: Enforcer Key Defender Jack of all trades C: Real goer Pivot Racehorse H/F: Avenue to goal The hardest position Will o' the wisp F: Resting ruckman Spearhead Goalsneak R: One kick behind the play Prime mover Borer into the bottom of the pack 19th: Utility 20th: Big-hearted trier In addition, you had those that didn't make the side but were knocking on the door of selection and were running around in the seconds. Among these were exciting young prospects, natural left-footers, honest battlers, bean-poles, big occasion players, nippy small blokes and club stalwarts. Then, by the 1980s, the game and the terminology had changed to read like this: B: Tagger Stopper Sweeper H/B: Rebounder Negator Springboard C: Breakaway Instigator Linkman H/F: Runner Tall option Receiver F: Crumber Converter Finisher R: Tall On-baller Small I/C: Overlapper Tag breaker The backs and half-backs were collectively called "the back half" while the six forwards made up "the forward half". The centre line players were in "the middle" and its intersection with the "central corridor" (previously the goal-to-goal line) constituted "the workface". These days, I have to admit to having no idea. Nor, I suspect, does anybody else.

Unrestricted Free Agent isn't he?

That might depend on the size of your neck (not unlike Sam Collins).
