  1. That could be said for all of us at this point! What I was curious about was how Cameron leaving GWS could cause a domino effect - ie, a chain reaction, the cumulative effect produced when one event sets off a chain of similar events.
  2. "Cherry ripe" is another term that is now ubiquitous to the point of being cliched.
  3. Others have said the same thing, but I don't see this at all. Despite making a GF, his team that is chockful of early draft picks has underperformed badly IMO.
  4. Tom Browne also mentioned the domino effect. How do you think this may play out, Luci?
  5. You only have to look at the overwhelming positive response to deejammin's excellent post to realise that you are part of a very small minority here, Franky. Like some others, you seem to confuse "woke" with common human decency and respect for others.
  6. Catastrophisers gonna catastrophise.
  7. Cody is not related to Dale Weightman.
  8. He chose to bump the player with the ball and came off second best. No sympathy from me.
  9. You'd probably appreciate this image of him breaking his collarbone last week.
  10. 12" singles were very common in the 1980s and usually featured an extended version of the song. The sound quality was superior to both the 7" single and 12" LP formats. They were usually 45rpm but occasionally one would be 33rpm which would make the record sound like it was The Chipmunks if you weren't paying attention to the label. I've just dug out my "Australiana" 12" and I can tell you it cost me $3.98 and came complete with a sticker on the cover proclaiming Warning! This Offensive Contains Language That Might Be A Record!
  11. Article from Greg Baum in The Age this morning on this very issue. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/collingwood-and-lumumba-a-fairytale-marriage-that-soured-20220510-p5ak7d.html
  12. Just after he made that statement, he had a coffin' fit.
  13. I can't even listen to this song without thinking of those marvellous couple of minutes.
  14. Can't believe I'd never heard that before! I saw Austen perform his "Australiana" routine live one night before he became relatively well known and the 12" single (ask your parents) is still in my vinyl collection.
  15. It would seem that Buckley doesn't mind the conversation being revealed. Whichever way you might lean on this issue (and I'm keeping an open mind), I hope we can all agree that it is a good thing if it causes turmoil and trouble at Collingwood.
  16. Back in 2021 when the fixture was ... err, fixed ... West Coast were a team that had just finished ninth. Nobody knew back then that they would be the dumpster fire that has eventuated in 2022. This, of course, does not explain why Geelong get to play North Melbourne twice.
  17. Eleven years since your last post, Captain! Surely that's a Demonland record.
  18. Quite possibly. Laurie was also held over and didn't play for Casey.
  19. Didn't play for Casey today, but I don't know the reason for that.
  20. Lever copped a corky according to Goody so hopefully his foot is fine and he won't need to miss any more games.
  21. Can you also do one on apostrophe's?
  22. Not Fathers Day.
  23. I'm more interested in a "Love Eight" relationship.
