CASEY: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Acob van Rooyen hardly touched it today.

Poll - Demonland Demographics
Just wondering, Steve. I assumed we didn't have a lot of young posters as most of us appear to be grizzled, rusted-on longtime Demon tragics. The poll numbers to date would support that assumption with fewer than 10% being under 30.

CASEY: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Here's hoping tonight isn't a "Horror Movie" for Demon fans.

CASEY: Rd 11 vs Sydney
I just watched the last ten minutes of that quarter and the ball didn't go into our half. It doesn't help when every kick out of defence seemed to find a Swans player. They were all over us and should be in front.

Had a prostate check recently?

Poll - Demonland Demographics
Nobody has volunteered for the "81 and older" category so far. I can only assume that old dee hasn't logged on yet.

Poll - Demonland Demographics
There's nothing in the bank but I might be able to conjure up something if I make an effort. No promises. EDIT: I've just drafted a couple of new ones. Stand by for the bye! 😉

Poll - Demonland Demographics
Might as well because nobody will be able to tell which vote is yours. I set it up that way deliberately so no need to be coy.

Poll - Demonland Demographics
I am curious as to the age makeup of Demonlanders. I suspect that, like our supporter base, it will skew towards the middle/top end. Voters names will not be made public, so don't be shy!

NON-MFC: Round 12, 2022
Luke Beveridge claims he "didn't see the incident". Why do coaches of the (allegedly) offending player never see such things, I wonder?

CASEY: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Is Rosman injured or unwell? Haven't heard any such news on him this week. Bedford named as an "In" but doesn't appear in the team, which suggests that he may again be our Injury Sub in the main game.

Vale Ron Reed
Ron was the co-author of Robert Flower's book "Robbie" which was released in late 1987. R.I.P.

The Importance of keeping humble as supporters
In 2018 when Zach Tuohy goaled after the siren to sink us, a Collingwood-supporting mate sent me a text saying "Gee, that must sting!" complete with laughing emoji. I didn't bite at the time, but took great delight in sending him the exact same text when Dom Sheed kicked the winning goal to beat the Magpies in that year's Grand Final. He didn't take it well.

Hypothetical Victorian Team 2022
Did anybody else see the thread title and immediately assume that Werridee was the author?

Constitutional review
I think "Chair" is appropriate for either gender. Some prefer to add a "Mister" or "Madam" prefix.

Thanks dc, I think that's it.

Taylor Walker
I realise you're only being serious*, but there are problems with this scenario. 1. He can't play for us this year so won't be part of 2022's back to back. 2. If he plays in our 2023 premiership team, we would have gone back to back to back. 3. If we don't win it this year but go back to back in 2023 and 2024, Tex will be about 45 years old by then. It's all too difficult to envisage and therefore unlikely for mine. * This post is equally as serious.

AFL Mid-Season Draft 2022
We can't pick up anybody. There is no vacant position on our list. We are not participating in the MSD.

Sydney Appealing Buddy Ban
Although they essentially have the same meaning, I incorrectly used the word "deliberate" instead of the appropriate term "intentional" in my take on the matter. Nevertheless, my opinion is unchanged that Franklin doesn't have a case. This is not to say that the AFL won't roll over, of course.

Sydney Appealing Buddy Ban
What Cotchin did is neither here nor there. The issue that Sydney is disputing is whether Franklin's action was deliberate. I can't see how you could possibly argue that it was anything but deliberate. To me, there are no grounds to uphold the appeal.
