  1. Alas, I have no further information, but it's a ripper of a picture.
  2. Any excuse to post this again ...
  3. Lure Clint Bizzell out of retirement and draft Wylie Buzza and we could have a line of Bizzell, Bazzo & Buzza.
  4. Yep, certainly sounds drained.
  5. Ah, I see. Straight through to the keeper!
  6. Seriously? It's a term for an excellent performance in a game and a well-known phrase at that.
  7. I think the commentators say that to differentiate him from Bailey-Smith. The other Bulldog with an apparently hyphenated name is Easton-Wood. Or is that just Eastonwood?
  8. Technically, only Brisbane and Hawthorn were three-peats as the other two (Geelong and Richmond) didn't win their three in consecutive years. And we all know that "technically correct" is the best kind of correct. As for Melbourne, let's aim higher and go for the "fourplay". Who knows what that might lead to?
  9. If you look closely, you'll see the reason why Harry Petty always kicks drop punts.
  10. Not this Cliff, however. He was Young.
  11. Is his nickname "Barry"?
  12. * Jordon!
  13. Or Jordan Jones, as Luke Darcy would have it. Or Jordon, as Jordon would have it.
  14. What a brilliant package that is, made even better by the lack of the annoying crappy music that always seems to accompany such highlight reels. Think this might just get watched more than once!
  15. Benjamin Buttonesque comeback there by Lucas. I see he's added an "E" to his surname in an attempt to hide his identity.
  16. It's a basic football fundamental, IRW. If you're facing the goals, you may spot an unattended team mate in a far better position than you or the opponent on the mark may not be paying attention, allowing you to run forward into space. Both of these scenarios increase the team's chances of scoring a goal which can't happen if you have your back to the play and therefore don't know what's happening up ahead.
  17. Could we afford his wages?
  18. How does this work, JJC? The players don't choose which umpires are given the Finals gig.
  19. It is a mortal football sin. You should always face the goals, as was drummed into us from under 12 level.
  20. What have insects got to do with all this?
  21. There shouldn't be a problem with time if they utilise all those Cartier watches.
  22. It also means that other clubs/players respect us and trust us to do a fair deal and are more willing to trade with us knowing that we are not "difficult" to work with.
  23. We started with one red paperclip. Who can say what treasure we'll end up with?
  24. I've told you ten million times not to exaggerate.
