  1. Thanks KK. We've got intermittent snow in Latham. I'd love to warm up by going early with a celebratory cognac, but I'm too nervous about changing my gameday routine. Ahh, the things we do for this football team!
  2. The 'conversion' should be complete by the end of the day GCS.
  3. This is a 'litmus test' game for the Dees, but we have been building, and I'm confident this will continue. Our fitness will see us home by 3 or 4 goals, in what should be a 'cracker' of a game.
  4. Of course we have ..... it just weighs some of us down more than it does others.
  5. I love it! Both teams at near full strength. Should be a good contest and go some way towards sorting the real contenders from the pretenders. I think we are the former!
  6. Really enjoying this thread. Seeing a different side of one of my favorite players makes me love him even more!
  7. ..... also, it's when and where the frees are paid. I'm sure the umpires seek to square up the free kick count late in games. I've often observed a late flurry of frees to a team which brings the ledger closer to square at the end, than it was at (say) 3/4 time. We are most often the 'victim' in this scenario.
  8. Really looking forward to it Andy. You beat me to the punch with the Burgo question ..... especially fitness level of the team now compared to 2018. Does he attribute this to the way we have been running out games lately?
  9. 6. Oliver 5. Langdon 4. Petracca 3. May 2. Brayshaw 1. Melksham
  10. Flogging Collingwood is as good as it gets. I'm absolutely stoked!
  11. Collingwood have always been my favorite team to beat. Our prime mids have been in top form, and if they maintain it today, then we win, and it'll be a great day ......... simple as that!
  12. Buggered if I know. I can't even figure out when the round started or when it ends!
  13. 6. Oliver 5. May 4. Viney 3. Lever 2. Petracca 1. Jackson
  14. I know we are the better team, but after last week, how can I trust them?
  15. 6. Hibberd 5. Lockhart 4. Lever 3. Gawn 2. May 1. Petracca As evidenced by my votes, I reckon our defense stood up reasonably well, given the speed and frequency that the ball was coming in.
  16. 'gutted' and 'ashamed' are the first polite words that come to my mind.
  17. 6. Viney 5. May 4. Lever 3. Oliver 2. Petracca 1. Langdon
  18. Take a tipple from my special cognac for the second week in a row. It's been a while since that happened.
  19. Jonesy in for Vanders sits very comfortably with me, especially given the expected wet track.
