Excited?
Iām 100% with you od, but I will admit to a smidge of Shiraz influence right now. Having said that, Monday is one of my two wine-free nights, but I decided to ignore my GP, and have a tiny tipple because we are 7 zip and on top of the bloody ladder!

2021 Injury List
Iām shattered for Tommo, but absolutely loved the way our boys got around him both during and after the game. There is a massive team spirit in our group, that I havenāt seen for a very for a long time. Weāll miss him for sure, but weāll restructure and galvanise in his absence! All the best Tommo!!

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Well they tell me that that's what good teams do!!! So sad for Tommo. Great to see the boys get around him during and after the game.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Iāve been afflicted by chronic MFCSS for many years (well before it was formally diagnosed on Demonland), but I've been symptom-free all this week. No matter which angle I come from, I canāt see North beating our boys. Even in the extremely unlikely event that we enter the match bloated with week-old bathwater, we will hit the overdrive button at some point, and go on to win. We are just too talented, too professional, too driven and too well led, to let this one slip. Dees by a big margin!

TEAMS: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
I thought that was pathetic and incredibly disrespectful to a legend of the Melbourne Football Club. Grrrr!

Demonland Podcast
I was in a remote area with no internet earlier in the week, and have just listened to the podcast. Best yet guys .... thanks! ps having just smashed the tiggies helps of course.

CASEY: Rd 03 vs North Melbourne
North being so poor made it almost impossible to know what to take out of that match. My conclusions: - nobody smashed the door down tonight; - Casey played the Melbourne way, which is a very good sign

James Jordon Re-Signs Until 2023
To me, the following quotes from the MFC announcement epitomize the way JJ is now playing for us: "James has worked diligently on all parts of his game, and is now getting reward for his hard work" " he is a really mature young man with a terrific attitude" Not all players can be stars, but diligence, hard work and the right attitude can take you a long way!

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I also like this approach. Itās aggressive, and shows plenty of confidence in those who have us sitting 5 zip. We need match hardened players against the tiggies, and one or two good performances in a very much weaker VFL competition doesnāt necessarily ācut itā, regardless of your name. How long has it been since we have had the ādepthā to make this sort of call at selection?

Dreaming Dees
Iām quietly, cautiously, daring to dream ....... as hard as I bloody well can! My heart beats true .......... What else can I do?

Do you trust Melbourne
Q. I've been silly enough to trust them when they have been flailing around as in 'a tidal rip, taking them out of their depth and in the wrong direction', so why would I not trust them now when they are on the 'crest of a wave'? A. I'm still silly.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 v Hawthorn
At the 3/4 break, I was hoping (without a great deal of confidence) for the āreliefā if a hard-fought. āuglyā win. Then we started playing how we played to get us to 4 zip, and in the āblink of an eyeā, we look a million dollars. 5 zip! Thatās what the good teams do!

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
Most of us agree that Weid is a 'confidence player'. His confidence should be 'sky high' after today. 1 + 1 = 2. Looks like he's senior bound!

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
Cāmon Dees, letās bury the old āDanger Game Syndromeā once and for all. No more letting ourselves down by losing to weaker opponents. Just go about our business like we did last week, and prove the sceptics wrong. Dees by 7 goals!

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
The Casey match is definitely not on here in Canberra. Please keep the updates coming for those of us who are 'out of the loop'. Thanks in advance folks!

Clayton Oliver Re-Signs Until 2023
I love that Clarrie is continuing with us. It's 'a lot funner' being a Dees supporter with him in the team.

Kozy on Selwood
In his very short career, Kozzi has already earned the right to give a bit if lip to the likes of Selwood. I love it.
