C'wood travel schedule Perth to Brisbane to play G'long in Covid times = flat as a cow-pat. Take a moment to compare that with Melbourne's travel schedule before Sydney and Freo in Cairns. Read into that what ever you like.

By gee, that makes me ancient! As others have said, he was an outstanding player of his era, and an 'all time' great Demon. I worked with Hass for a short time after he retired from the game. Not only a great player but a fantastic person with just one small fault. He had the most 'finger crushing' hand shake I've ever experienced. Happy memories, happy birthday Hassa!

I'm all for having an ex player with a bit of football nous as part of our 'brains trust'. Is Greeny that person? I'm more than happy for Bartlett to make that call. I love the idea of having the right 'heart and soul ' Melbourne people around the place in an official capacity. Hopefully it's a stepping stone to building a stronger identity and a tighter culture. I also love the idea that we seem to be leaving 'no stone un-turned'. Go Dees!

Very good at his best, but his type not at the top of our priority list.
  5. I'm thrilled about this. I have a feeling that Ooze will be an outstanding asset. Thanks Chook in Perth for the early intel. Reliable as always!
  6. Just a hunch, but imo Pert has a 'hard edge'. Exactly what our Club needs in this situation, and what most of us have been baying for.
  7. You are not alone Wise. I live 600k from the 'G' and get to only 3 of 4 live games in a normal year. I still purchase my annual 'Redlegs' membership, plus four full memberships for family Christmas presents. MFC are undoubtedly my preferred 'charity'.
  8. LJ is our most exciting prospect for many years, and that includes Tracc and Clarrie. We must lock him away on a 5 year deal asap.
  9. Wow. No dissenting views on a Demonland thread. Riv must be a an absolute beauty!
  10. Regardless of whether or not he has a contract in 2021, it's a 'given' that both our Club and the AFLPA will be there to support Harley and his family going forward. He is very fortunate in this regard.

  17. Anyway, I know who out of Quaynor, Sholl and Riv that I want on Melbourne's list for the next 15 years. That will do me just fine thanks!

  20. Great! Team! Effort! Three stand alone words, but combining them into a sentence sums up tonight's performance. Keep it up Dees!
