  1. All the best for Liam, but I seriously feel like he has spat on the Melbourne Football club by turning his back on us and declaring he wants to play for a South Australian club. We would have spent hard earned cash backing him with top lawyers, putting the culture of the club at risk by confronting the media following his attack allegations and for what?
  2. My favourite part is when you didn't mention our best midfielder in Jones.....LOL
  3. People jeered. It was disgusting. Ignorant idiots who couldn't clearly see that he looked like he was in the world of pain. Smarten up supporters.
  4. Dayne Siegle one of the attackers on the left....This picture pretty much sums the maggot up
  5. Obviously not watching the game. Don't worry mate, I'll PM you and summarise what you have missed
  6. Gotzy15's thread which was deleted 'Magner is our biggest liability' Absolutely spot on the money...
  7. Hey Neeld. Thats why you play Blease.. Stop making him sub and dropping him you spud
  8. I dont think half you guys know the skill required in being a midfielder and actually reading where the ball is going to drop. The reason why Jamar wins the taps is because he is reading the ball and knows how to position his body in order to win it. In this situation he can't always manoeuvre himself to tap it down where he wants. This is where an elite midfield comes into play, they need to judge where he is going to tap it and the hole they need to run to. Unfortunately our mids have not worked out where to stand, run, push off their opponent.
  9. Tom Scully "I want to be a one club player"
  10. Whats stupid is they go to the video review system when its a clear goal and it goes right over the goal umpires head, but when its a controversial decision like that - they don't even utilize what was implemented to begin with..... no logic to the AFL system some times
  11. Nearly shed a tear. Amazing effort with our backs against the wall.
  12. Hardwick came in and changed the culture, line up and recruited players who have been an asset to this years success at Richmond. Going from recent events and the way we have been traveling with our senior players over the years I think its the only avenue we now have left to address. Senior players make a statement to the younger guys. Whether that would be in the football world or any other working department. You come into an office, your fresh young and you witness the way in which your fellow colleagues who are veterans go about their work. If they are lazy, ill-minded and care more about themselves than the company - that has a domino effect on all the younger and newer employees coming in. I know for sure if I can get away with doing no work evidently shown by others not working I wouldn't do work. It's not just the senior players down at the club who are in strife, from what I know there are a few players who have questioned Mark Neelds experience and game plan and have been completely shunned by the club this year and consequently have had injuries labelled for the reasoning of them not playing. It's a negative culture at the moment which must be changed at seasons end.
  13. I tell you what, the hole goes deeper than what we all think, I'm not allowed to comment on what I know specifically but just leave it at that. Just wait till the end of the year I guarantee you all 100% there will be a huge list change. Until then its about getting the set ups, stoppages, and fundamentals right before we move forward.
  14. I cant help but watch these two videos and think how far off the Melbourne players are in comparison to actual 'Professional Athletes' WHEN YOU WANT SUCCESS AS BAD AS YOU WANT TO BREATHE, THEN YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL. [media=]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpFroMCKiuM&feature=share NO DAYS OFF, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS Get some fu***ng want and success melbourne!!!! Get fired up you blokes! You don't want success.. you just want to cruise along getting a pay check... Makes me sick. Get inspired...
  15. Moloney will be gone Stefan Martin will be gone Aaron Davey will be gone Brad Green will be gone Colin Sylvia will be gone
  16. This has to be a troll or the most infactual sentance I have ever witnessed.
  17. Some of the posters on this form absolutely baffles me. One minute we will have a huge thread about Scully, expressing our hatred towards the player who we picked up as a number #1 draft pick but has now left us due to a lucrative offer. On the other hand, we have Brock Mclean who we picked up in the top 5 draft picks - and left us due to the fact that he did not want to play for the MFC anymore and wanting to find success else where. The suggesstion of opening our doors to the club for Mclean after he walked out on us is absolutely disgusting and weak despite whether he would be an asset. I wouldn't be surpised if half of the guys here who are thinking this would be a good idea are weak minded individuals who would get dumped by a girl thinking she could get better, then half a year later when she comes crawling back you'd most probably think hey... I'm struggling at the moment, why not? It could be a good idea, I could do worse. This is the Melbourne Football Club. Not a cushion lounge where a player can leave and then decide whether he wants to come back or not. Get a grip you blokes show some bloody spirit.
  18. Richmond did this with deledio months ago at their training session....
  19. I tell you what. I'd rather use any pick we have available to us on Jack Viney, and see him lead from the front and deliver his already proven aggression and toughness for the Melbourne Football Club, and continue the legacy his dad left, over drafting it on a guy who apparently has 'natural talent' and then in turn doesn't have a break out game for a number of years, whilst sucking the [censored] of the club and then the media scrutinizing us on picking them whilst letting Viney slip through our fingers. Even if Jack isn't rated top 3 in this years draft, with his body, skills, and passion for the club I can see him being a better player when playing for the demons and circumstances will show he should have been rated number 1 pick as the season continues. I guarantee it.
  20. http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/135159/default.aspx Is there a slight chance we could target this kid if Dangerfield is out of reach? With Jamie Bennell in the side and the desperate need for a player of Harleys caliber. Could rotate through the mid / forward
  21. As much as I love this club, it saddens me when the high profile players with so much talent - are the ones we always try and lure from clubs who were smart enough to recruit them in the first place, and not the gems we find in the draft periods.
