WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BERNIE VINCE
Demon_JB replied to Ted Lasso's topic in Melbourne Demons
She's an in and under. Gets her hard ball gets -
Hope we land Michie might come on like a Barlow type, but I don't see Fremantle parting ways with him for a packet of chips despite his lack of games.
-
They already got Mumford??
-
I actually really want to trade pick 2 for Shiel. Not only is he powerfully built for contested ball winning capabilities, but can also win the ball and be damaging on the outside, explosive runner and can take the game on whilst kicking goals. Having to pick up one of Aish or Kelly will be another young player that will take a while to develop, where as Shiel I believe even though he is still young will have an immediate impact within our midfield.
-
This is why I hate how players can nominate a club to choose to be traded to, and then threaten to walk to the PSD if they don't get traded to that desired club. That's why the powerhouse finals clubs will always get their man not only through free agency, but for also when player X is out of contract and not having to give up much in return.
-
If it accounts for anything, I had a dream I worked for the MFC and traded pick 2 for Luke Shuey before he was ever mentioned as a possible get.. Usually my dreams weirdly are a reliable source to predict the future, take of it what you will.
-
Might as well throw in you
-
Maybe we can trade some of our fringe players or a player in association with pick 2 to land Rockliff and Docherty?

Sydney Swans offer Franklin $7 million
Demon_JB replied to Gippsland Dee's topic in Melbourne Demons
This is what the AFL deserves..The living expense that Sydney are allowed and can now fit in to afford Buddy after what happened with Tippet is a joke, and now the one player that could have brought so much publicity and lime light to the struggling GWS giant fan base is now not joining? Andrew Demetriou screw your head on.. -
I can't see Hawthorn letting him go unless they get a huge win. As a club they are scum when it comes to the draft period, they get players for absolute nothing and ask for ridiculous picks in return for their players. Savage adds a lot of depth for the Hawks with injuries and provides them with a valuable substitute. If he were on the trade table, I can't see him going for anything more than a 2nd round which I don't think he is worth.
-
Didn't want to give too much away (know's I am always on a Melbourne Demon's forum page) but just hinted he really isn't in the mix for anything at the Dees at the moment.
-
Have had a few chats to Brett Voss regarding this, doesn't seem likely.
-
Andrew demetriou just stated on SEN GWS will be getting Tom Boyd when being questioned by Patrick Smith regarding GWS and their future
-
Sounds like Roos is taking the role like Peter Jackson.. Sorting us out, sorting our list out building a culture and then handing it off.
-
Omg roos in that mfc polo hahahahah smile from ear to ear
-
2 years? fek that, I wanted 5
-
HERE IT IS!!!
-
Getting sick and tired hearing from my mates that the AFL are gifting us Roos. They have no idea how much we are personally forking out, aren't the AFL just putting up a quarter of his salary?
-
As badly as I would want this to happen I don't see the doggies parting ways. Pick 1 for Tom Liberatore That way doggies get their forward in Boyd they desperately need, we get a young mid talent who is a clearance machine. Not sure if that's paying overs, but from the early signs Libba is showing in a bad side at the doggies, he is going to be a terrific player.
-
Unfortunately Perdeson, but does it matter? Unlikely to win the game plus not in the finals, might as well get full game time into Spencer provided he goes unscathed and see his return.
-
Pun intended?
-
I think it's a good idea to allow Spencer to be our main ruckman for the entire game. Let him run it out, see how he holds up and performs, did so with Fitzpatrick and turned out to be a better player than we were expecting.
-
In: D.Rodan, J.Frawley, C.Dawes, C.Pedersen, J.Toumpas Out: S.Byrnes (foot), J.Strauss (shoulder), S.Blease (ankle), J.Fitzpatrick (concussion), T.Davis
-
Grundy is something else.. Never seen someone so young who can dominate as a ruck like he did against Hawthorn. I was salivating over him watching those taps and follow ups.
-
He doesn't look stronger.. He just looks more shredded, that's just the combination of cardio and the weights/exercises he'd be doing that at the gym (no doubt he'd be doing high reps low weight)
