  1. I think it's been gone for a week or so! At least I noticed it the other week but just thought it was a glitch
  2. I always read these threads but confess to not being a puzzler. Don't be disheartened, Demonstone!
  3. 8th overall for combined AFL/NRL brand value... not bad!
  4. @No. 31 is often a sensible and interesting poster, and more emotionally balanced than some supporters!
  5. Medication itself is not a silver bullet. Structure, exercise, figuring out works best for themselves any day of the week, support network (both formal and informal)... There are over 200 genetic markers for ADHD and each person has a different mixture, nevermind the environmental factors, the experience of societal stigma, and how symptoms can change across a person's lifetime (and also affected by lack of sleep, hydration, diet, stress etc). What works one day, one month, one year may not work the next. It's not to say that a person with ADHD does not have personal responsibility and accountability, just that even in good scenarios it can be a handful. It's no surprise that a lot of the issues about and surrounding Clarry correspond to the time he gets his first significant injury (and the loss of structure and routine that comes from that). (Using your post to further the convo Bing181. Thanks for posting on this topic!)
  6. No, isn't it Jefferson?! 😂
  7. Well I've seen a few wearing the red and white today in Sydney. Also someone with a Swans scarf and a Lions guernsey! Lots of pubs in my area advertising specials for the GF, so it'll likely be quite rowdy this afternoon.
  8. Go Sesto! I'm sure he'll do us proud!
  9. Solly Lew or one of his kids are Dee's fans. They blew a similarly glorious photo of the premiership team up to life size and had it on their fence after we won. I made a pilgrimage and took a photo standing next to Fritter, Hibbo and Viney - some real life photoshop magic 😁
  10. *provided you're allowed to benefit from such systems by the AFL rules
  11. A good and useful commandment coming from you, Adam the God!
  12. Or fermenting, like any good wine? 😋
  13. A lot of people say WCW is too positive, and say that she should recognise *insert whatever issue with the club and/or player here*. The one time WCW expresses her opinion about a player and it is negative... you all see it as a licence to dig the boots in? Regardless of one's opinion of Trac - if you're a poster who is often expressing criticism (whether rightly or not) about the club and players, and demanding that your opinion is respected... how about recognising WCW's right to an opinion?!
  14. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail! Guess social media is Trac's hammer?
  15. No, they're a long term poster who was previously known as AF and Binman's PA. They just change their name occasionally but same account
  16. Maybe if it is early in the morning, @WalkingCivilWar will need less red bull? ...Nah, who am I kidding 😂
  17. This sounds adorable! One of my favourite things when attending the footy is seeing how into it some kids are. Their reactions can be so sweet or so funny! (Of course, always better if they're a Dees fan, not that you can hold it against the poor brainwashed kids who are fans of other teams haha) P.S. like the new avatar but almost didn't recognise you, Luci!
  18. If people are afraid of her credentials, wait until they look at actual lawyers' CVs.......... She is not admitted as a lawyer and never worked at the law firm as a lawyer. She instead took a role supporting the use of technology and communications about technology uptake.
  19. Oops, sorry! I can be a bit literal 😅
  20. Dude, Andy literally just did a bunch of posts explaining why there is moderation, how he is otherwise at risk of legal action, and how deliberately circumventing moderation (and ignoring warnings) will result in a ban...
  21. One of us... one of us... one of us!!
  22. And a lot of the recipes are from Recipe Tin Eats - a vastly more engaging brand - or his sponsors!
  23. There are plenty of moments these days where interacting with an organisation involves giving some form of personal information beyond that which may be reasonably necessary. I recommend using services like Duck Duck Go and the like to have some control over this (you can hide your email address and create generic throwaway email addresses for use on newsletters etc, but still receive your email in your normal inbox).
  24. To be fair - the legislation only refers to the right to receive the "address" of voting members, so it was an unsettled point of law whether this included email addresses. The Club could either comply and risk falling afoul of APP 6 of the Privacy Act (although arguably lower risk unless the OAIC took enforcement action and the club couldn't make out the "authorised by law" exemption argument) or not comply and run the risk of Peter Lawrence taking legal action (which most might decide against but Peter Lawrence did decide to do, as we know).
