WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TOM SPARROW
He is General Manager - List and Strategy. If I worked there I would expect him to lead on draft night.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TOM SPARROW
Don't agree with that at all. He looks like a pro who is on top of the deals to me. They picked McLennan because he wants to go there! Loves surfing, dad from Brisbane.

Training - Monday 3rd December, 2018
Casey needs to recruit a ruckman IMO. If plan A is to play Gawn and Preuss in the 1s, who is going to ruck at Casey? For the record I am not an advocate of another ruckman on the MFC list.

Demons are the team to beat in 2019: Champion Data
Clubs pay many $000s for CDs standard stats package and many more for custom packages. I don't think they regard them as useless. What seems to missing here is the realisation that CD correlate stats with game outcomes to determine the important stats. It's an emerging and imperfect science but it's not "opinion".

2019 Jumper Numbers
Numbers must be allocated I think because players are training so lockers will be allocated. Wonder when the announcement will be made?

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
The Jake Lever trade has washed through the system now and can be viewed in (close to) completion. The 2 1st rounders we traded both ended up with Carlton and they chose O'Brien and Stocker. We took Petty with the 2nd rounder we got back. It's harder to track the late future 3rd and 4th round pick swap because we combined our 3rd with another 3rd and swapped that to the Saints for a 2nd so we didn't end up with the player at that pick and it would be a bit of exaggeration to say we got Jordon with it because we added something but it's as close as I can get. The future 4th round pick we traded ended up at St. Kilda and they took Robbie Young. So ... In: Lever Petty Jordon* Out: O'Brien (Carl) Stocker (Carl) Young (St.K) Clearly "bent over" : )

Now THAT is dedication!- Pass Mark 2019
I'm not sure where you were at the end of this season maybe in a coma? Sam Weideman came in when Hogan went out and kicked 8 goals in 5 games, and goals in every game - all against high quality opposition, 3 of them finals matches. That translates to 35 goals across 22 games. There's a reasonable expectation that with another pre-season Weed will be even better next year.- Pass Mark 2019
Missing the finals is a failure now but even then there could be injury reasons for that. So making finals is a pass. Winning finals is a reasonable expectation, top 4 a good result - last year was really ahead of expectations. Flag is definitely possible and that's a great position to be in.- 2019 Fixture

AFLW and AFLX to fill the void? The key is satisfying the broadcast revenue. There's a fair way to go before they will fill it but it is possible and we could get to the fair 18 round with as others have suggested, more byes to cater for anomalies. I know the relatively short NFL season made me so hungry for it when I lived there. - WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
