  1. Credit to Spencer there with a great stopping tackle on Yarran. If only he didn't ruin us so often. He'd almost be useful.
  2. Of course he does. He has absolutely no interest in assuming the responsibility a senior player should--namely leading by example on the field. He is a chronic head dropper when the chips are down.
  3. Yes. Unfortunately it's a VERY long way away from his foot. And WOW Grimes has declined.
  4. On track for an 80.0.480 def 0.0.0 scoreline.
  5. Excluding Melbourne games, I've watched about a total of 1 full game of footy this year. That is lack of interest that is totally unprecedented for me at this time of the season. Melbourne is actually killing my interest in football. That's how bad it has gotten.
  6. Does anyone believe me yet that it's the players, not the coach? Dean Bailey, Mark Neeld, Neil Craid, Paul Roos...it's all the same until the players start to lead each other forward.
  7. He's not dead yet, guys. He's still fighting and should be admired, not pitied.
  8. I'm going to be honest and just say I hate the current banner. It's far too cluttered. We currently have about a quarter of our playing list represented. That is insane.
  9. If a few people stand up, others will follow. That's what leadership is.
  10. Is it morbid to donate your organs after death? Is it morbid to harvest insulin from dead pigs? Is it morbid to eat the flesh of dead animals? Is it morbid to dissect euthanized rats you've intentionally given cancer to, in order to discover what makes the disease tick? Yes, yes, yes and yes--but that doesn't mean it's not still awesome.
  11. I'm all for superstitious mumbo jumbo, but can we please spare the chooks?
  12. What about kids like Mitch Clark? Are we suddenly going to stop drafting or trading for them too?
  13. "Yet another"? Do you mind listing them? Also, 16 possessions in a complete smashing of another side is nothing to write home about.
  14. Perhaps it's because despite being persecuted in his homeland for over fifty years, he still preaches respect and compassion.
  15. Irony works fine. It's sarcasm that's hard to pick up. Of course you need to be smart to detect irony, so I suppose it does go to waste from time to time. I'm sure Moonshadow is really happy you stuck up for him. I don't know how he would have handled my "disdain and superiority" without you to intervene on his behalf. But I am sure you meant well.
  16. I was doing it ironically. Also, I never admonished anyone for their "disdain and superiority". That was someone else. The only point I was making is that it is old fashioned to place social media on a lower echelon of communication than other, more "traditional" media.
