I rewatched the Bulldogs-Essendon 2000 game this morning and the quality of footy and commentary in that game just leaves the modern game for dead. The AFL needs to go back to that.

Swap Jones with Goodwin. Win-win IMO. Jones can't coach, which means the players will play naturally. Goodwin's probably still faster than Nathan, so we gain an extra runner (and on-field coach, aka a "captain"). It could catch on….

I would actually die if we got Jamie Elliott somehow. He is exactly what we need.

Am I the only one who doesn't really like this? I mean, it's objectively a great photo…but we don't deserve to see Gawny hold it until he wins it. I mean, it's like taking a photo of yourself sitting inside someone else's sweet car. Sure it's cool…but it's not yours. Yet.

Looked slow and overly bulked-up during his Sydney game this year. I expect very little from Jayden Hunt from 2019 onwards. At least I won't be disappointed.

If it goes Cats, Hawks, Pies, Tigers, that will be pretty much the perfect 4 opponents. Breaking through the 2 teams who have given us the most pain through our dark years, then a preliminary final vs our ancient foe. Then a GF vs the defending champions. You couldn't script that better, and there's no 4 teams I'd like to beat more than them if we could do it. One week at a time though…

2018 Sam Frost This year at the 'G we are: 1-5 with Sam Frost out of the side 4-1 with Sam Frost in the side. For the way we play, Sam Frost is a pivotal player for us at the MCG…and no one would put him in our best players, that's for sure.
