Changes v Eagles - Preliminary Final
Darling was in the side last time and got nailed in a fair tackle. Selwood 2 weeks ago, Mitchell last week. All's I'm sayin'.

Our supporter stereotype
Indeed. I'd much rather have 2 manservants and a cheeseboard than 2 teeth and a cunningly maxed-out dole cheque.

Changes v Eagles - Preliminary Final
Then you're saying we should make changes to the side? Who do you suggest? If we don't make changes, then we're right to go. The only other alternative is that Goodwin is an idiot. One or the other.

I owe it all to Demonland
I thought he sleeps with the fishes.

Finals Week 2 - Non MFC Game
We've been really lucky with our final weather this year. The two best nights for it both weeks.

What's Fortnite, I do paleo (and therefore don't fart). And no they can't so lucky I've got my own source of income!

Casey Demons v Essendon VFL Preliminary Final
Jordie looks like the successful well-dressed TV celebrity uncle forced to hang out with his lame nephews at a family gathering on a hill in the sticks.

Perth flights
Got me P's at least, but I drive heaps for work and am very smooth at avoiding night-time roos.

Perth flights
If anyone is going to make the drive over, I'll gladly tag along and split all costs. We don't have to sit together or anything. Just get me into the state of WA and back and you'll never have to look at me again.

Meanwhile . . . down at Glenferrie Road . . . .
At the game it felt like the Hawks deserved to be 2-4 from their opportunities in the 2nd; our defense was rock-solid. Yes they blew some big chances, but kicking behinds is not always bad luck. It's often a fault in entry or a deliberate strategy from the opposition. Hawthorn's entries weren't clean and our defense was as good as it has been all year IMO.

David King lives and dies by the stats. It's why he couldn't really coach. All he can do is Nostradamus-ize based on the stats. When it doesn't work he forgets about it. When it works, he brings it up at every chance. He's been on the Dees all year based on our stats though, so you've gotta give him that.

Not enough tackles! Shoulda tackled the footy not kicked the goal.

My 3 word player analysis V Hawthorn
So…Jetta's BOG for beating a bad player? Right.

James Frawley v Nathan Jones - ‘ultimate’ success
Chip was terrible in his last year at the dees. I was happy to see the back of him, especially with what we got in compo from the AFL.

The Melbourne 'GIFS' thread
Just watch every Melbourne player's reaction on that bench. It's a work of art. JONES: "I can't even believe how good these kids are." SALEM: "Yass! Wait, don't draw attention to yourself Christian. Keep it cool." WIEDEMAN: "Eh…it was all right. Better kick it but." SPARGO: "Lemme at em. Lemme at em. Oh I probably shouldn't run on the field though or they'll wipe our score. Probably just sit down."

Changes v Eagles - Preliminary Final
Gotta go a bit taller vs West Coast, so I'd say our only chances are J Smith, or a very outside chance of Pedersen. Still would love to see Vince get back in though.

Jayden Hunt
Looked slow and overly bulked-up during his Sydney game this year. I expect very little from Jayden Hunt from 2019 onwards. At least I won't be disappointed.

I won the bet!!!
Don't you just love the look on their faces in this pic! Gotta say though, you look a bit nonplussed at it all.

Preliminary Final Time Announced
You expect to get out of there alive?

Dees shutdown star eyes biggest scalp yet.
Harmes is too short and slow for Smith, and their body types don't match up. Hannan would be perfect IMO. Smith: 188cm, 83kg Hannan: 189cm, 87kg Harmes: 185cm, 86kg

The Wizard is on board.
That great mark on Garry Lyon's crook back is one of my first Melbourne memories. I have some fleeting memories of footy games from before then, but this is the only one I can pinpoint the game it happened. I watched it with my grandpa at the G from behind/right of that mark. It was a ripper, and so was he. Must admit I grew to hate him while he was at the dockers, but that was because he was ours, and he always turned it on against us!
